Not to rain on anyone's parade but I find it hard to believe that the Impala, Lucerne, DTS or LaCrosse would have won COTY solely because of the platforms that underpin them. They are not new, they've been around for a while. Surely the rest of those GM cars are new and very much improved but no magazine is going to give a major award to a car that's platform is not brand new.

He puts gravy on everything. If anyone believes Michael Moore actually tells anything close to the truth in his "documentaries" you really are fooling yourself.

I can go for almost anything, meaning I'm not really particular about hair/eye color, height, etc. Weight is another thing but skinny people are becoming harder and harder to find in the U.S. I'm not talking about totally ripped bodies and huge fake breasts. Normal, natural, just keep it real. Big brown eyes, dark hair and tan skin I find to be very sexy on anyone. I'm also into "shorties" but not too short, around my height (5'7") would be perfect. Non-greasy hair is a plus, as is overall cleanliness and manners. A brain and sense of humor definately help. Skin is huge for me, especially facial skin. No acne or acne scars, peeling, dry skin, etc. It's not that hard to take care of your skin, washing your face twice a day and a little moisturizer each morning go a long way. NO FACIAL HAIR ON WOMEN (even if it blends in with your skin tone and you think no one else can see it)! That is nasty and wrong.

I don't care for the exterior all that much, especially the rear third of the car. I'm still waiting for actual interior photos, not random shots of controls and leather seats.

Thought I completely disagree with most of what he has to say, he does have a point. GM failed to quickly change with the times and that is due to the unions, poor management and the fact that it's a huge company. I know the Titanic comparison is cliche but it fits: Unions = Titanic employees who didn't fill lifeboats completely Poor management = Titanic designers who failed to make the rudder large enough and the water-tight doors tall enough Huge company = huge ship

I've started getting into country recently. Kind of scary but I can only listen to the more mainstream country, nothing really too country, if you know what I mean.

Lucerne. Avalon. Montego. Impala. Anything other than this. That interior design isn't worth $20K let alone $30K.

I saw the title of this thread on the forum overview page and I knew I couldn't come to the Asian section because I'd end up seeing the thread and reading it. I haven't gotten my damn magazine yet. What a shame. The Civic might be COTY material but it is not COTY. I don't know what other cars were on the list but I'd give the award to the Fusion, IS, CLS or Eclipse. The Impala wasn't going to get this award because it's not brand new and it's not the best that GM or any car company has to offer. The Solstice is an awesome car but it's overweight and the interior looks like it was forgotten about until the last minute. I loved Motor Trend's new layout/design and it's been the only car magazine I've subscribed to. In fact, I just renewed my subscription last month. I'm honestly thinking about dumping it and I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of people actually do.

I thought GM was going to keep tabs on how many cars each division has, minus Chevy and Cadillac? God, I hope these cars are each styled distinctly and differently.

Don't change the brand names but definately import the cars just as they are. Please.
