FOG, should GM start hiring even more unneeded workers just so it can continue to say it hires more Americans than Toyota? Please, GM is losing money because it has too many employees and too many plants. No car company will no longer have a 30% marketshare, there is too much competition. GM needs to downsize in order to stay competitive, it needs to focus on maintaining a 20-25% marketshare to remain profitable.

Funny how even their own data supports the assumption that a hybrid Highlander is more fuel efficient than a normal Highlander. Even if the hybrid version "gets the same MPG" as a normal Highlander it sure as hell has better emissions. Using the EPA's fuel economy website, I found out a normal Highlander (FWD, V6) emits 8.9 tons of greenhouse gasses each year and is rated ULEVII while the hybrid version (FWD, V6) releases 6.3 tons and is rated SULEVII. For comparison, a normal Ford Escape (FWD, I4) emits 8.0 tons of greenhouse gasses and is rated LEV while the hybrid version (FWD, I4) released 5.8 tons and is rated SULEVII.

I saw the new (to me, at least) G6 coupe commercial tonight. It makes the car look amazing. Black background, black car and the taillights are on. My mom even piped up with a comment along the lines of, "that looks cool." Nice choice.

The day the some liberal institutes a national health care policy is the day I leave and unlike the Bush bashers who claimed they'd flee after he was reelected I'll stand by my word.

Bribing workers not to unionize? LMAO! Toyota's non-unionized workers make the same and have the same benefits as unionized workers without having to pay $XXXX in union dues and dealing with union politics. Sounds like a damn good bribe to me.

I said "should" but I meant "be forced." I elect to get insurance from a company for myself (and yes, I rely on others) but if the government supplies any type of insurance I am forced to pay for it, something I refuse to do.

The government shouldn't be taking care of anyone...people should take care of themselves. You're right, GM isn't in the healthcare business because it doesn't manufacture any drugs or medical equipment. It is in business, however, and it has employees that its leaders elected to take care of. GM promised its employees great medical coverage and now it has to pay.

The majority of liberals do favor abortion. LA, being conservative does not mean you're ignorant or racist. I've seen way too many liberals say they're "open minded" but turn very nasty whenever someone says something they don't agree with. Razor is the furthest thing from conservative, too.
