Spied: Dodge Avenger (non-R/T)
It looks like it's trying too hard to be different, sporty and affordable. It doesn't patch all three together into one good package.

First Pic (I think) of Outlook Without Nav
This is my first time seeing it and I'll say it looks pretty good for the base model. The wood brightens it up and adds a touch of class.

GM halts sales of Saturn Outlook, GMC Acadia
Exhaust system rattle doesn't sound too bad. I'm guessing GM wants this launch to be spot-free and is pulling a "Toyota" to make it so.

2007 G5 review
I have yet to see one of these on the roads. Are they on sale yet?

Mitsubishi Introduces 2008 Lancer
sciguy_0504 replied to Variance's topic in North American International Auto Show in Detroit (NAIAS)I think it looks pretty good. Makes me interested to see the interior and specs to see if it's competitive.

Your new favorite song
I heard that for the first time tonight and I thought it was pretty cool. I was never a big fan of hers and her revamp made me even less of a fan but "Say It Right" is a good song. "Too Little Too Late" has been my #1 since I heard it months ago. Just a great song, IMO, along with "What Hurts The Most" by Rascal Flatts. The music industry is in such a sad state at the moment. I've found myself listening to commercials on purpose because they're better than most of the crap being played. No melody, you can barely understand what is being sung...it's just noise. I've found myself listening to more and more older stuff from the 90's and going into different genres (like country) and countries (Australia, UK) to find good music.

Nice Guys
I would so the same with her then. She may add to the budget or she may quit trying to squeeze every cent out of what is left.

Cory is a big boy!
Happy Birthday Cory! I wasn't really on yesterday so please forgive my lateness. That token black A&F guy is funny.

Nice Guys
It pays to be nice but it also pays to be firm. If you're working for free and she knows this and is still acting rude then you need to set her straight. The worst is saying something and then not seeing it through. It makes you look very weak, IMO, and I hate when people do it.

Saturn Astra to Launch in Late-07
Looks good. I hope GM caught our drift about the Aura transformation.

Autoweek Reviews the Outlook...
Pricing, and how it bodes for other Lambda models, especially if this is second on the brand ladder (Chevy-Saturn-GMC-Buick), is a little scary but the Lambdas are grand slams period.

Inside Info: Acadia Denali
Another engine family? I know little about GM's engines but it seems it has quite of fat to cut loose.

LaNeve: GM's Sales Slide has "Bottomed Out"
Sales will slide even further once gas hits $4.00 a gallon again and the GMT900s and, to a point, the Lambdas are sitting on lots with huge incentives. GM needs to focus on cars now as much as it has focused on the GMT900s and Lambdas, which are the best in their classes. Based on the Aura and from what I have seen of the upcoming Malibu it does not look like 100% focus is there.

Lutz Responds to GM Minivan Debacle
There are two sides to this argument and they have already been aired in this thread. For now, it is best GM focus 100% on the segments that matter, segments that have tons of sales and make money. Once GM is in the clear it can focus on building a good traditional minivan.

go sciguy
A big THANK YOU to everyone. Thanks for starting it off, Ocn. The stars aligned and I had today off, no classes or work, so I made sure to enjoy it. I am kind of disappointed, though, because it did not snow. For the past couple of years there has been snow on December 5 in SE PA but not this year. That's Mother Nature, what can I do? I had dinner with my family at Smokey Bones, a steakhouse/mountain lodge-esque restaurant. Croc, your present still has not arrived. Please post it in the "photos" thread. :AH-HA_wink: Again, thanks everyone.
