I posted a photo several years ago, I guess. So here's me now, age 50.

  7. Ooh-ooh! At first I thought it was a whole row of vintage Buicks, but not quite. In Cuba, no less!

  9. Just tonight I saw a banner ad on the Internet, stating Pontiac "Designed for Action." Either they're still using that, or using multiple lines.

  11. Wow! A classic beauty - the car and the woman.

That hair is great! I can hardly grow any at this point, or it's all in the wrong places. Gee, you had big feet for a young guy.

cletus8269: Thank you for sharing these photos. The name "Pontiac" is so h-u-g-e on that tailgate! (Love it!)
  16. peeling < newspaper reporter to the Three Stooges > "I'm Brown, from the Sun." < Shemp >: "That's too bad. Are you peeling?"
  17. Wow! That '77 Pontiac's door panel and interior looked so c-l-e-a-n!
  18. I did and thank you for sharing it. Besides reading their answers, I thought the drawn color portraits were neat. But I can't imagine that Alan Mulally is so foolish to actually believe what he said about Mercury. Try the 1968 model line-up, for instance.
  19. The online Detroit News today has a caption under the G8 sport truck (or whatever) that says GM plans a car-based truck. So that makes it a truck, right? Likewise, the headline on this thread says "2010 Pontiac sports truck," so that makes it a truck, right? You certainly wouldn't say Pontiac sports car.
  20. "Johnny was a... " or, if you prefer, "... without a cause"
  21. Nah, images will come out from the Beijing Auto Show on April 19th... if not before. That'll hold us until the NA reveal later this year.
  22. Oui, if it's used on a premium American Buick.
  23. I'm with VenSeattle. I think we rightly are expecting this vehicle to be so much more than a restyled LaCrosse W-body, thereby meriting a name change. Plus they could be done with all of that LaCrosse is slang for whatever / LaCrosse in the US but Allure in Canada stuff. I hope they're not using older Buick model names (Riviera, Invicta) only on the concepts or in China. If Buick is premium American, use its American heritage and no more "le" or "la," n'es pas?
  24. Well, if the trend in the US market is toward downsizing, then let the Invicta be as large as it goes in Buick's planned line-up... the new, modern, truly competitive Buick flagship. Can I say "'class-leading"? I hope.
  25. Can thegriffon confirm that the production vehicle will be called the Buick Invicta (rather than LaCrosse, Regal, Allure)?
