  1. I agree, its a better car overall than the past Rio, but honestly the old Rio looked better.
  2. Oh, the trucks that weren't trucks but really four-wheeled motorbikes with cargo beds in the back for dockworkers?
  3. I think I posted this a long time ago, but guess what...? It has family...
  4. Uh, the design is lousy. Needlessly wide-ass center stack, equally wide-ass center console. If its anything like the Sonata as far as ergonomics go, ugh.
  5. Dude, for real, did I say it didn't deserve to win?
  6. A blue sedan and a gray sedan and the new rear treatment is extrodinarily craptacular. Makes the car looks smaller and far, far chintzier than the pre-'06 models.
  7. Anyone seen the way Nissan arranged the rear badging on the xTerra? Looks like crap.

Harry's a drug addict and that's not conjecture, that's an educated assumption. He needs help but I really don't care. Regardless, he's also an ass and doesn't deserve a thread of his own. Not here, not anywhere...
  9. That interior is craptastic. Sure, a step above the XG350 (what isn't?), but still lousy. Typical Korean knockoffs and mishmashes.

Honestly I don't see that happening. Toyota isn't Jesus or some last great hope, so if it falls that badly, people will simply turn to other imports (esp Honda) or take another look at domestics and perhaps be pleasently surprised.

Echos are actually quite thrifty on the gas and would be the wiser choice for a second vehicle for commuting if you had to choose among the two. Granted, in every fathomable way its a piece of crap.
  12. Some people are idiots, like the owners of the lowline mid-90s Accord coupe with 100+k miles for $5800, the rusted '93 Bronco for $6500, and the faded black CRX with a primer gray door for $4500 I've seen.

You stick your head under a car to smell the exhaust? That explains things.
  14. I think everyone was anxious for that car to came out because 14 years of C3 is way, way, way enough.
  15. Its that 4cyl Diesel Corvette Club Sport we've all been waiting for.

I think the first three and 4th/3rd to last are new. Nice.

My favorite Rosa Parks related thingy... The state of Missouri named a stretch of highway adopted by the Ku Klux Klan the "Rosa Parks Highway."
  20. I can call things what they're really not, too. I still like the Ford Darus I saw last week in the Nickel Shopper.
  21. If you know what that means, then you'll also recognize this... C&G - the Wonder Years
  22. I think the VQ Nissans have the most Godawful exhaust notes this side of rice. It sounds so mechanical, so synthetic, and almost whiny. Very irritating. There's a clear distinction between an FX35 and 45. Honestly, I like the Northstar exhaust. Pleasant, subdued, and composed at idle and under moderate acceleration, but give 'er the guns and she sound beautiful.
  23. Wee bit of the exaggeration?
