Winter preparations
Now, those Diesel Benzes are tanks. Probably the last real 'Mercedes' Mercedes will ever make. Sure, they're rough around the edges with the gobs of crappy plastic trim and doofy rubber bumpers, but those are solid. Still, they're slow as shit. I know someone with an '84 and he loves it, but he readily admits its lousy on the speed.

Japan Also Put Tariffs On US TVS In The US.
Zeith was, I believe, the last US TV manufacturer until it was absorbed by LG Electronics out of Korea, becoming a fully-owned subsidiary in 1999.

2007 Aveo - 3rd quarter '06
Yeah, if that doesn't show GM the ridiculousness of the Aveo, nothing will. Granted, the one we have now was more of a stopgap, so fine. But if there's a new and improved one coming soon...

" Saturn's Rust-Proof Brand"
The huge panel gaps goes part-and-pacel with the polymer panels as the gaps allow the plastic to expand and contract. I don't think gaps would've been such a big issue if Saturn made more of an effort to make people aware of this trait.

What? You've never been to Koorea or Jaapan?

Toyota Developing Hybrid Tundra
In light of hearing this, I hope so, too. Already, the mild hybrid system in the Silverado/Sierra is quite worker-friendly as it doubles as an in-truck generator with multiple outlets - it just isn't really fuel-friendly!

The Proper Terminology Post
Hey, remember when the term hybrid was used for crossovers?

Favorite SUVs, post 1990.
Excursion doesn't deserve 'props.' Its truly the 1959 Cadillac of the SUV era - a big, wallowly, inferior conflagration of uselessness. Similarly-equipped Suburbans/Yukon XLs could tow more and also undercut the Ford by a few grand in price. And even the biggest, baddest Excursion with its obnoxious chug-a-lug Diesel is outmuscled by a gasoline Chevy...by 1500lbs (12,000 vs. 10,500). This doesn't even touch the far superior ride and handling of the 'Burban, the far better interior and equipment levels, and its overall class. Harder to pull up to a fancy dinner or show downtown and still look good in an Excursion. In the end, someone said, "Let's build another great SUV" and someone else said, "LET'S BUILD SOMETHING BIGGER THAN ANYTHING! AAAAAARGH!" and its clear who said what.

Toyota Developing Hybrid Tundra
No biggie. When's the last time you've seen a Tundra tow something larger than a pair of jetskis or a $19.99 lil' lugger UHaul?

Finally! Somebody Target's Toyota!
That's because Toyota did the same dumbass thing Honda did with the Accord - bolt the electric motor onto the V6 powertrain so it could make more power (aw-ho-ho-ho!) instead of better economy.

New Buick Tagline
Acura is a second-run to Lexus because of their lack of RWD cars, V8 cars, and completely-independent-of-Honda-styled cars. For someone representing Buick to say this, is total bullshit. I think many of you know what I mean.

2007 Solstice wishlist
      I say this with all seriousness, look at and sit in the car yourself before you criticize thing slike this. Your Grand Am sucks, you realize that? Reviews say so.

2004 Malibu BURNOUT!!!
That 80% was a mixup. You were warned appropriately previously and I warned you and the others again accidently not realizing it was already done. Its been corrected. As far as you and BV goes, you've done your own share of insulting others with 'yuppie-bashing' that differs little from redneck-bashing. You've also hit being the 'kidding' card with your insults. That doesn't make what he's saying/doing right, but the fact is you both do it.\ I suggest both of you cease this baiting/retorting now. I could care less if you bitch at each other all day in PMs or AIM or whatever, just keep it off here. Period.

Winter preparations
Ew. Diesel Benzes smell, burn oil, and are slow as shit. Besides, isn't Diesel actually about $.15-40 more per gallon? Also, please don't buy one of these... ...in addition to all of the above, they look like shit, too.

I'd still wait to feel the car myself. Seriously.

NAIAS '06: Who's Going?
One would hope, but I doubt. Its not a very big or significant show compared to anything else. Just all the cars with little fanfare. I think we were the first to see the Suzuki Reno. I nearly wet myself I was so thrilled. Or maybe it was because they parked the car next to the restrooms in a corner next to a pretzel cart.

2005 Bonneville SLE Review! WITH PICS OF MY BONNE!
Look at the shape of the roofline. While all the other G-bod mates (except Riviera) have more formal, arching C-pillars, Bonneville's is cut sharper. I could tell easily going from our SSEi to my Aurora how much airier the Olds felt though it was the same car, especially in the rear. However, it was never an issue, so we didn't care. As far as the 'crazy design,' its actually very well laid-out and very intuitive. The HUD controls are somewhat tucked away since they're not used much...ditto with the headlamp switches (I never unstood why cars with autolamps have such massive dials). The only complaint I'd have would be the DIC is somewhat obscured when your hands are in driving position. However, I understand its a result of typical post-'87 wide-ass Bonneville instrument clusters.
