The date was September 30th, 2005. School ended and everybody went on their way home. Some by bus, some by their parent's, and some by their own vehicle. One person in particular drove his '90s Toyota Tacoma. On his way home, the engine started to stall or something. Pretty soon it stopped and wouldn't start. It caught fire. He called the fire department. As they came the fire had devoured the front half of it. Soon it was out, but too late to save the audio equipment located inside. Anyways, I don't know of the exact details, but this was to a friend of mine. I just had to write it semi-professionally. I guess he didn't pay much for it and in return is getting a few grand from his insurance company after only making one payment. So... I'm glad it wasn't a Fiero. :lol: :D

I just wish some of these technologies could be available on cheaper vehicles.

:withstupid: The LaCrosse's interior could greatly use a more exciting design with more real wood and metal and chrome accents.

I don't know if this is happening anywhere else... but here people with trucks tend to put massive amounts of amber and red lights everywhere. Basically, to imitate an 18-wheeler or such... Don't know why, but it looks stupid. :blink:

I finally got my chance to sit in one... I have pics posted in the Lounge here. Anyways, I did find the lower plasic to be quite hard. And shiny. Other than the grain, it looks like it could have come from my 95 GAGT. Probably did. The top was great, though. Wasn't shiny nor hard. I wasn't a fan of the fake plasticky wood either. Anyways, it looks great regardless of the material quality problems. My favorite thing about it is the HVAC vents. They're just so cool. Close them completely for a clean look... The Cobalt has them too, but look better with the wood surrounding.

Screw Tempest... it was a Canadian Corsica. :lol: :P I'll take Grand Am, still... :D

Are they all great? ...No, but worth mentioning. :D Also, I left out the G6 and Solstice since it hasn't been all that long since they debuted as well as concepts from the 80s and before... You may bash, but I may get pissed. :P

After those, I looked at the new Impala. It is bland, but looks good. The interior is nice. Next I looked at a G6 GT sedan. I really like it even though it has no spoiler. Finally, I looked at some of the last Grand Am GTs. It's a shame to see the name go. The End. ---------------- :lol: Wow... I'm never doing that again... :D

A Picture Documentary By Cory Wolfe Today, I went to my local GM dealer. They sell vehicles from Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, and Pontiac here in Brookville. The first car I looked at was the new DTS. It sure is nice for what it is. The second one was the new HHR. It is very cool even though it's retro.

I thought it was strange since I didn't really wear any cologne. When I did, she never really said anything... You mean I'm not the only one that has this stuff?!?!? lol :P

No, Sixty8... that's not quite what I was thinking. It's not really PC either... I mean... it would probably offend everybody. Ah what the hell... Here it is: Because women get f**ked, while men do the f**king. In gay couples... men still do all the f**king. In lesbian couples... they don't really get f**ked. :D See...? :lol: :P There are exceptions, though...

Can't believe I forgot to tell about my trip to the dealer. Got to get up close and personal with the new DTS. As well as a G6 GT and some used cars. :P First the DTS. It looks good. I wasn't sure how the fascias would look with the body, but they go together great. Much better than the original. The interior looks good too... very luxurious and better than the STS. Next the G6. It was a red GT sedan. The reason I'm telling you guys this is because I noticed some things. First, it didn't have a spoiler. Are they now optional? If so... that sucks. Second, the interior... the center stack looked different. I studied it and guess what, the plastic is the same as the dash unlike the 2005. Did anyone else notice this...?

Thank god it doesn't... Anyways, I'd like to see the Blitzen sedan. I really liked the last one only offered in Japan. It looks good, though...

Sixty8, you just had to make me do this... C&D Oct 05 "The four-speed TAPshift manumatic is better than mst we've experienced, leaving upshift decisions totally in the hands of the driver..." Meaning that it will only shift when you press the up buttom. Unless you pass the redline without shifting or something and it shifts for the sake of the engine... But you have to be an idiot to that in the first place. Also, my parents have experienced more problems with manual transmissions than autos... and you know how I talk about my mom's driving. :P However, I like a manual transmission. They are more fun, regardless. I like shifting, but it can get tiresome. Especially in the city. Endless shifting and pushing the clutch, it seems like. My left foot has started to hurt sometimes... I like coupes, too. I don't need the practicallity. They just look better and are lighter as well. Not always the case, though. The G6 sedan looks better than the coupe.

Interesting.. Rear looks like a Saturn L-series...

I have my own theory as to why women live longer... but I don't want to offend any women... :P
