Oh yes... the unneeded game of changin names. Is G6 better than Grand Am? Is the supposed G8 better than Grand Prix or Bonneville? Is Pursuit better than Sunfire? Is Montana SV6 better than Montana?Is Torrent better than Aztek? ...wait, scratch that. :P Needless to say, it's rediculous. Pretty soon were probably going to see Pontiac Pizazz replace GTO. Pendejo replace Vibe. Puta replace Solstice. And Pissy replace G6. Ugh... :D Now back to the Ion... I still can't believe how nice that interior is. I love it. Now if they could give Pontiac the compact coupe/sedan it needs... badly... with an interior as nice as this. Seriously, I think this is one of GM's best. If not the best, imo.

According to Sixty8, there's no such thing as FWD performance sedans. :D Anyways, this is great review, especially coming from the biased C&D. I just wonder if this is still them being biased and its even better than they say. I haven't really seen any other reviews except the vague one by MT. So... we'll see. I also want to say that they cut quite a bit out from the article in the mag. Including this: "There are some interior elements that enhance the entertainment. Them front buckets, for example, are close to BMW territory in support and comfort, and the grippy steering wheel and nicely sized shift buttons enhance the sense of driver involvement. The head-up display is effective for keeping track of speed without glancing down, and the center dash info displau even includes a g-meter...." I wonder why...

Still haven't seen it yet... Well... if it makes you feel any better, my dealer only has a Malibu that is an 05 Maxx... but its been there for a while and its been the only one for a long while. Before it... there wasn't any for a while. High end SSs of any car have never been here. They had only one C6. One SSR a while back. Been a while since any Aveos or Avalanches have been there. Same with Tahoes and Suburbans. I can't remember the last time I saw any Buick other than a LaCrosse on the lot. Same with Cadillac. On the Pontiac side of things, there has never been a GXP model. The last GTO was an 04 almost two years ago. No 06s of any kind yet. Of course... some of this may be because of the Employee discount and the fact that it's a rural dealer so it doesn't get everything at first... Anyways, the interior does look good. I'm impressed. The exterior... well... they tried and that is what matters. Or not.. It's still ugly, but now more bland. The only trim that looks good is the LTZ. The LS is piss-poor, LT is bland, and the SS looks cheap.

What are you telling? ...That there is no way in hell that the GP GXP could be fun and isn't performance oriented? Is that it? I'd like to know... because if that's the case, I STRONGLY disagree. If you have read C&D's October issue... you would have seen them say "The net is a forgiving and capable four-door, arguably the most entertaining sedan Pontiac has ever offered." Most entertaining?!?!? ...Even more than Pontiac's past RWD cars?!?!? How is that possible?!?!? OMG?!?!? Also it gets higher Gs on the skidpad than the RWD Charger R/T. What?!?!? How can that be?!?!? Did I mention it is also just as fast, gets better gas mileage, is cheaper, and "a driver can induce a little oversteer." What?!?!? Oversteer?!?!? In a FWD car?!?!? All this and "torque steer is not a serious issue", "The V8 delivers effortless performance to this front-driver, and the GXP copes gracefully with the power" and "it's one of the most memorable sporting American sedans I've driven in a gawdawful long time." Interesting. :huh:

There you go again... <_< :P But I do agree that a manual should have been offered... So... the HW, GXP, and Autocross all suck? Just because of those? Jeesh... you're so harsh. Those are just minor things. I don't like them, but I still love the cars. So lighten up! :lol: :D Anyways... I love these cars. Absolutely love them. My favorites of the above are the GXP and SC/T sedans.

Well... it must be NorCal that my some of my problems reside in. Basically its that, what razor said, the whole Hollywood culture, and it seems that everyone (not literally, ofcourse) is stuck up there. It's like "if your not like us your not cool" as razor said. It's all about what's cool and what isn't and everybody seems to follow. It's all about image... hence why Pontiac is about the least popular make there. Which brings me to my personal reason for not liking CA... The majority of them are Pontiac haters with Pontiac hating stereotypes. When I went there with my grandma in her Sunfire... it was like hell. People acted as if they were better than us because of it. I remember one person saying "Oh... you drive a Pontiac" in that... certain tone of voice, if you know I mean. Add to that the stories of similar experiences I've heard. They hate Pontiacs, damnit! <_< :P It should no wonder that I hate them. :D However, I will say that it is very beautiful over there. Especially along the coast. Now if we could get some more Pontiacs over there with some angry Pontiac fanatics.... :lol:

Hmm... Interesting topic. Not sure exactly what I can contribute. Well... I have an idea that regular "traditional" families have more of a chance to raise dysfunctional children than irregular ones. Anyways, other than California-esque type crap... Modern Culture evolving at the rate it is and what it is... is good, IMO.

I hate it when people clutter it up here. Its so beautiful, but then they have to dump their Mcdonald's wrappers and shit all over the place. Ugh... I'll admit, though, I've thrown stuff out the window before, but not in a while and it was something like used gum or its wrapper. Wait... I threw out a whole pile of trash when I went to CA for the third time a few years ago. :D J/k...
