2011 Regal: A Buick bred on the Autobahn
I think if you look closely, the entire front fascia has been tweaked...maybe not a huge difference, but noticeable...

2011 Regal: A Buick bred on the Autobahn
Can't find the edit button, so I guess another post it will be. I find it odd that the front fascias on the American Regal and Chinese Regal are different. (maybe an MCE for China?) I like our grille better, but the lower fascia and foglights on the Chinese version look sportier...

2011 Regal: A Buick bred on the Autobahn
I really like the interior, even in plain black which is unusual for me. I also like the 2.0T although it could probably make some more power. I'm still not sure how I feel about the headlights, taillights, and the odd shaped spoiler, but I really want to see it in person. Still hoping they'll be smart enought to make a 6M available before I'm in the market for a new car in about a year.

2011 Regal: A Buick bred on the Autobahn
I think the problem here is your idea of what Buick is supposed to be...people don't just want jumbo sized pillowy luxury. That's part of what got Oldsmobile, Buick, and Cadillac in trouble in 80's and 90's. Some people like sporty luxury without the hard chizzled lines of Cadillac or ass-rape that BMW calls a sticker price. If a brand/company wants to survive it has to evolve and adapt to it's customers. That is what Buick is doing.

Buick Regal Debuts November 12th
Sure, and I liked it too, but it was an expensive vehicle with a very limited market...A Buick Regal Coupe could be sold in all markets that sell Buick or Opel/Vauxhall. That's a significantly larger market, plus a midsize coupe appeals to WAY more people than say a two seat convertible pickup... Also, I'm sure alot of people wouldn't consider a midsize FWD Buick an enthusiasts car, but it is a compromise I would make where-as the sedan is a much harder sell...

IF
I like the Terrain alot, but if you like the Jetta, a SportWagon could be an interesting proposition...maybe even the TDI

Buick Regal Debuts November 12th
Drives me crazy. I wish they would build something they show even if only to appease us enthusiasts. I know that if they produced that coupe as a Buick I wouldn't even think twice about signing on the dotted line...I wouldn't care if it had a 4 speed auto and seats made out of concrete...

Monday Night Football
I LOVE the Steelers! So freaking stoked they won, but oddly enough living in Wyoming there aren't many who share my sentiments...

Buick China's new 5-dr sedan is "Yinglang"
Those pictures look different then the spy shots of the sedan, so hopefully if they bring the hatchbacks to NA they will match the sedan and not look like it has a poorly pasted on buick grille...

Windows 7 Shows Strong Initial Sales
I bought a new laptop in September and am supposed to be getting a free upgrade to 7, but I haven't seen or heard anything about it since my upgrade was approved...

Buick Regal Debuts November 12th
+1 Especially if they had the brains to bring over the coupe, and not that powertrain...

Chrysler 2010-2014
ya, I just looked at the plans for each of the brands and then the overall product one. I'm a little worried about the fact that the only Jeep vehicle on Chrysler sourced platforms will be the Grand Cherokee and the Wrangler. Makes me wonder what the B, C and D segment SUV's from Fiat will be like, and if they will be as capable off-road as the current Liberty and Patriot. I'm also a little curious about the 'international reallocation' of the Commander. Otherwise, I think all the changes over the next couple years should be positive for the brands.

Chrysler 2010-2014
PDF versions of the 5 year plan, as well as the webcast can be found at www.chryslergroupllc.com. Some of it sounds very encouraging!

Rich Chicago man really hates poor people
I hate HOAs. I feel like if I own my house, then no one should be able to tell me that I can't put up a fence or that I have to pay them to keep weeds out of our lawns. I'll do that myself thank you very much...

Petty co-workers are usually...
Luckily the only thing I ever put on my outlook besides work events, was "out of office" if anyone (my boss usually) needed to know why, they could ask me about it.

Toaster Ovens
Juicer and bread maker are nice to have, but not necesarry. George Foreman never gets used...my appliance I couldn't live w/o is the deep fat frier I've never used a toaster oven before though...is it really any better than anything else?

I have a 50" Panasonic Viera that's about 2 years old and I've loved every moment I've watched it.

Give me (a) Liberty, or give me death....
Remember too, if you were interested in leasing a new Patriot, they have the new interior now, which at least looks better in pictures.

Give me (a) Liberty, or give me death....
I've heard alot of different opinions about Liberties. Originally that's what I was planning on buying when I got my Grand Cherokee, but after driving it, I just felt like it was skittish, if that makes sense, and definitely did not inspire confidence at high speeds or in severe crosswinds. Also, my Grand Cherokee has the 4.0 inline 6, and it gets better mileage than my friends Liberty with the 3.7. Something to think about though, I only average about 18 in combined daily driving.

Funny, my mom loves them too...

Cleaning & conditioning leather seats, plus other cleaning questions...
I do, I just stick it under the seat or in the cargo bay. I always have my dogs in the Jeep though. Once the odor you dislike is gone, I'm sure you could take it out.

Funny Prius/Criagslist advert
If I ever saw a bicyclist around here follow any of those guidelines it would be a miracle. We even provide bike lanes throughout the town, and they only use the road or the sidewalk...WTF?
