Cadillac tends to throw the "Platinum Editions" out for the last 2yrs of a vehicles model run, so i expect to see a new XLR along with the C7 corvette. it comes down to interior, interior, interior. we've already seen how great A&S 2.0 looks, so the xlr will no doubt be world class, if they just give it an interior inline with the CTS. GM won't abandon the segment, they couldn't have expected to rule a segment they had never entered before, with an xlr with a "standard" interior.

i see where a V6 STS seems redundant. but some people just don't want the V8. the STS's problem it's too small, and looks cheap next to the new CTS. the chinese version would fix this. (the STS platinum is a joke, i don't even know why they wasted the $$ on it, blah) the new CTS is awesome. just hope they offer a better blue this time around. Sunset blue was awesome, but i want something bright, like the RSX or G6 blue. mmmm so pretty, I'd trade my grey one in in 2 seconds for it.

the color display with the 230w/11s audio is the same screen that would function as the NAV. the Red screen above is like an extra driver info screen, when the high-end sound or navigation system is picked. the interior above is most def the "base" model, the "concept" is pretty close to the GT dash.

the release said that's a concept car exclusive, but Pontiac would be crazy not to offer it on a GXP model.... (around 35k) would undercut any competition by ALOT.

I'm pretty sure you're looking at a nav screen. That's what the upper right button says, next to the screen...

Home run. GM has made all the right steps to ensure this sells. 391lbs of torque! AWESOMES! DoD? AWESOME! Airbags for both rows? AWESOME!

love everything. again, finally a useable dash like then GMT-900's and new CTS. i LOVE how it's an import, and doesn't have that STUPID airbag indicator light on the dash. weeeee! does anyone else think the GT and G8 are on the wrong sides? It just doesn't look right. And I'd want "pontiac" removed from the rear

Oh please. the GTO failed because it's styling was trapped in the 90's, and was an obvious rebadge. This G8 so far looks like a CURRENT vehicle, thats style fits the pontiac theme. The coupe market is already limited. And people obviously weren't ready to pay 33k(and mark-up) for a Pontiac V8 coupe (with a FOUR SPEED auto!)

there was some talk of a tacky spoiler, but i think it's just the image of a smaller G8 inside the larger one, not a tacky spoiler...

Oh of course. And i think this is the best/cheapest marketing GM can do to promote pre-show buzz on the internet.

LOVE the taillights. does anyone know when the actual embargo is up? not guesses? OF COURSE there will be V6 trims, GM can't be that dumb!

don't get to excited, it's only going to be a MCE. people seem to think it's going to be a brand NEW G8 for 2010? it's going to be the same platform etc, built in a new location with a refreshed exterior.

it looks like a prev 2 generations ago 3-series. but that's my favorite bmw. it looks like a pontiac. i hope they didn't change any of the rear. was perfect already.

QUESTION: Anyone else notice that's a NEW pontiac logo? All silver, and more stylized at the top?

that nav screen looks AWESOME! I'm glad GM took a hint from the G35. there when you need it, hidden when you don't! are there pics ANYWHERE of the reat seats? i'm curious what they look like.

well it sounds like this is going to be priced around 25k for the low end models which will do wonders for volume! and i hope they give it an aggressive face. 90% of the ext/int is FINE! just MAKE THE FRONT AGGRESSIVE!

no luxury sedan has ever looked this hot, and no sedan will! the gm photo's made this car look terrible! this new pics are awesome, the car is practically perfect. the IS, 3-series, and G better be scared b/c they can't hold a candle to this beauty!

looks CRAZY INSANE HOT! however, would it be too much to ask for pics that are level? I like the cool angles, but i really just want to see the car on a level plane.
