  1. Nicer than what? The Malibu is a decent looking car but the other cars in the class...Jetta...Camry...Accord...the rolling visual abortions of Nissan...Everything that it competes against (other than the Bu') is far, far, far uglier. Chris
  2. No, I'll take my five children and adopt two more before I would try to do what you are doing.... Like I said, former co-worker has autisitc daughter also, I know what is involved. And Carbiz, despite what you say, I think you would make an awesome dad...glad to see you spend time with your nephews. Chris
  3. The only place that thing would go in winter were it to be mine is the inside of my heated garage. Chris
  4. It is a sweet, sweet truck but I'd rather put the same cash towards a Buick Grand National. But tempting... Chris
  5. Just tell Victoria that you will need plenty of practice before you can have a first born... Chris
  6. OMFG I feel sorry for you. My father had to quit for medical reasons, he quit when I was in high school. For the next ten years, every time we sat at a stop light his fingers would tremble and he would shake and get cold chills...to be followed by the inevitable "God I want a damned Cig....." Keep us posted, seriously...and good luck to you sir. You have my respect. Chris
  7. I've owned two Chevelles, and they both loved to smoke like that. I bought a rusty Ford Ranger from a friend for next to nothing so he could move to Florida, and it smoked in a whole different way... Chris
  8. Like Supersport, you look good with/look like you belong with your S.O. Chris
  9. This just makes me wish I was 17 again...Victoria is really a nice looking GF for you...but who is the goofy kid she's standing next to? (just kidding) You guys look great together.... Chris
  10. ...they need to. Intersting to think of how much money the big three put into charity in this country. Gm and Ford both donate vehicles to Columbus State and their automotive tech program. Also, a lot of cultural and other events are sponsered by the big three. Chris
  11. Thats at Mid Ohio, I used to flag races there. Most interesting crash I ever saw was a guy loose his brakes on the back strait on a motorcycle. China Beach (the sand trap at the end of the strait) took him down and he walked away, but that accident was 10 years ago and I've often wondered exactly what his face looked like inside the helmet when he realized he was going 150 mph plus and wasn't going to slow down. Chris
  12. ...and oh, $h! is this gonna cost toyota BIG bucks.... Glad that they seem to want to do the right thing, but...damn...from a financial standpoint...wow... Chris
  13. I've seen Body on Frame cars split in half because of body rust here...including very sadly a red on red 66 GTO... Chris
  14. G8 Gt is a sweet ride, if I could afford one it would be in the garage... Chris
  15. If a J-body is not out of the question, a friend who runs a shop towed in a 97 Cavi that was clean with a blown motor, has a wrecked Cavi with a low mile motor... Might make an interesting "model car" proposition. Seriously, you might think of spending a little bit more dinero and getting a decent ole Saturn. They sell pretty cheap and get good fuel economy. Chris
  16. Yeah, I'm getting tempted to own another big ole BOF V8 car and restore it. Pretty much my car addiction means that I will never retire, but... Chris
  17. Reminds me of an old Packard I saw atr a car show last summer. Chris
  18. Westport has been in the news with the number of teardowns and McMansion builds there recently. Which is what I love about living here in Columbus Ohio, as a complete rabbit trail/aside to this thread. We ajust kind of an overgrown university town. Westport seems like a great town but methinks it might be getting a little overbuilt with McMansions and the newly rich. But all I know of the place is what I read on Westportnow.com...and living next to the Atlantic would be wonderful. Seriously, what is it like to live in Westport? An author of some woodworking books I've read lives there, and there are a couple of other writers whom I have enjoyed (can't remember their names to save myself) who have been from Westport. Would like to visit the town some day and see what it is like. Chris
  19. Not just yes but HELL YES! Chris
  20. Camino, you must reconsider Z-28's proposition. With bright yellow paint and a wing that thing would look just awesome in your garage next to the E-clipse and the Evo. All you need to do is add baggy pants hanging off of your ass, some undercar neon, and a half assed stereo and you would be all set. Seriously, thanks for sharing the photo of that B-59. I've spent too much time looking at females lately and need to look at something else that looks good from behind. Honestly had forgotten how great these cars looked with the fins and the round tail lights. Chris
  21. With the washroom comment and a couple of your other comments you kind of get to what I was originally thinking. Last night after posting in this thread I took my 9 year old son and 7 year old daughter to a Cub Scout family roller skating night. My son kind of rolled off on his own, but my seven year old had never skated. I spent the night trying to teach her to skate, following other parents, mostly mothers around the rink and watching them bend over and pick up small children who had just fallen down. The mothers of my son's friends have some amazing features when viewed from the rear. If middle aged females that I actually liked were more sexually aggressive and if I had hit the gym as you suggest, I would face a LOT more temptation. As it is I have a pretty willing sexual partner who I am married to. Chris
  22. Upon reflecting on this, I think your probably right. Chris
  23. Men are assholes (myself included). However, let's not be too hard on ourselves. I know of several long term (20-30-40-50 year) relationships from both the gay and the strait side of the fence. ...and good luck to you also. Whatever happened to the guy that your teacher freind was wanting you to meet? Chris
  24. I had a chance to buy really cheap ( think hundreds not thousands) a Malibu MAAXX that had been hit. Nice car, but wasn't worth the price to fix it. Sad to see anything hurt...other than a Kia/Hyundai/Mitsu/(insert other stupid car here) Chris
  25. Now this is some GM horsepower.... ...and my kind of smoking. I can pledge guilty in excess of doing this... Chris
