  1. Yeah, but it has to be a real hardtop coupe, not just a bolt-on roof for the roadster.

Oh boy, sounds excellent. Can't wait to see it. I have a soft spot in my heart for Mopars, and any extension of the LX family is a good idea, imo.

OMG, it looks like some kind of exotic bug... like a scarab or something. :o

SEVEN GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS for the movie "Brokeback Mountain". What now, bitches? :)
  5. The Solstice GXP sounds hot. Some of us predicted this would be Pontiac's LA entry, not a larger RWD vehicle. Still... very cool. Can't wait to see it.

The yellow car above, isn't that a Fiero-based kit car?
  8. titan, you hit it. VW never used to be interested in being trendy. They followed their own road, and it was good. VW will fail if they try to copy other manufacturers.
  9. Just because someone isn't afraid of the death penalty, doesn't mean the sentence should not be carried out. Justice was served here.
  10. Ewww... an ASSpire? No way! Now maybe a tan Probe with a pink front bumper, but an ASSpire? Ugh. (Seriously, I am not a Ford hater altogether. I'd love to saddle up an '06 Mustang GT in bright blue with 18" rims and no spoiler...)
  11. Lower... lower... :AH-HA_wink: Now see, I don't like all that ink on a guy. Bleh.
  12. Looking at the Sierra spy photo, it appears to me that the grille is upright, not laid back like on the Yukon. I think it will be sufficiently differentiated while retaining a family resemblance. I certainly hope GMC wouldn't release a pickup truck with as girly a front end as the new Yukon (my least favourite of the 900 SUVs.)
  13. That Mustang is HOT! That black '70 Monte has a nice stance. Love it!
  14. No, honest, I haven't! Please believe me! Don't throw away all we've meant to each other! I love you! You know I do! :AH-HA_wink:
  15. Those little trucks are hilarious and crazy. I want one! :)

Missed it, Chris. Yup, the coupe is sexy, and the dealer group I work for has a Pontiac franchise elsewhere in the state, so I could get the employee discount. I'd have to have the Ultrabright 18" rims and the 6 speed, so it would have to be a GTP. Motor Trend's comment about cross shopping a Mustang GT (another hot car, for sure) for the same price doesn't hold water... because $27k is for a loaded G6 GTP (which I don't need), and the V8 Mustang is base priced at $28k.
  17. Nah cuz I bemember the gun holders and the liquor taps.
  18. I could have sworn that concept was posted here before... perhaps I've been toggling the "Scotch" tap?

When I was a 17 year old punk kid, my beloved grandfather bought for me a brand new 1981 Grand Prix. The 110 horse 3.8 was a powerhouse, and the CCC (Computer Command Control, inaugural year) was very finely tuned. Wait, that last sentence was a lie. It ran like crap. It had a severe dieseling problem. The engine shut off on hard braking. I got beat in a race by my uncle in a loaner '81 (Fairmont) LTD wagon with a 200 cid inline six... blah... The point of this longwinded story is... I used to attempt to drive up on those huge piles of snow at the mall in my Grand Prix... cheesy little General whitewalls spinning their little hearts out. I was so easily entertained then. Now I want an Emerald Green G6 GTP coupe with black cloth, value package, and a 6 speed. Anyhoo... if mom has an inkling that I have a crush on Jake Gyoiotwlllenhal, she'd be correct, Alex. I cannot wait to see Heath and Jake pitch their tent. :)

On a four door hardtop, the B-pillar is stubby... it serves as the hinge pillar for the rear door.
  22. I'd rather he be smooth and confident, a la '67-'72, than pissed off like '03-'06. The new Tahoe gives me hope.

Hopefully, Grand Am will come back, like Sunbird came back after the J2000 debacle, and no more alphas will be attached to Pontiacs as model names. Wait, except for GTO. Sixty8, the Cadillac in your sig looks... odd. What model is that? Is it even real? I don't remember that roofline at all, or that front end with that back end.
  24. Well, it was summer. It probably would not have worked.
  25. Unfortunately, both of my arms are that big.
