  1. Although they always had some Oldsmobile elements, I thought the one unique Saturn styling feature, the side swoosh, was worth keeping. Guess not. The Sky is better looking overall, of course.
  2. I'd love to sneak into a Lexus dealership overnight and hang that Cadillac tank poster in a prominent place. Imagine all the little weenie Lexus salesguys all atwitter... EAT IT, PUNKS! :AH-HA_wink:
  3. Welcome aboard, Kenneth Lichtig. Could you just go ahead and step into my office for a sec? That'd be great.
  4. :P :AH-HA_wink:
  5. At this point, I don't care what they call it. Just bring it!
  6. I've been on both sides of the counter myself, but I'd still be pissed. Something similar happened to my first Beetle. It went in for its first earl change (a car doesn't have to be "broken" to go on a lift), and the earl change kid raised the car on the pseudo running boards (rocker panels) and crushed the right side. This was summer, '98, so the Beetle was all the rage at that point. Everybody wanted one. The dealership traded me out of it and into a blue one... which was the biggest POS I've ever owned. Who knows what would have happened if this kid knew what he was doing and hadn't damaged my car. <_<
  7. Not that I'm defending Rick Wagoner's actions here, but... there are plenty of precedents for this kind of thing. Yes, it's wrong, but not unheard of. He should get $100k a year to live on and a brand new Avalon every two years for life.
  8. I tried, Variance, but for some reason, I can only count up to "2".
  9. Edited for length.
  10. Hmmm... Nos, I'd take that in to the dealer and have it checked. Your foglights aren't supposed to need refilling, they're supposed to be sealed at the factory.
  11. WELL OF COURSE I'M SERIOUS. TURN YOUR FOGLIGHTS OFF! THEY'RE BURNING MY RETINAS!
  12. Hmmm, I forget where I read it, but I think the '07 Z06 is gonna be available with a 3 cylinder Isuzu diesel.
  13. I read somewhere where the RWD Riv and FWD Toronado actually shared some structure around this time... looking at the details of the greenhouse... the windshield shape, the A-pillar, it looks identical... can someone tell me if I read wrong? Thanks for the compliment, Sixty8!

It's those damned sales that ensured the brilliant '05 Mustang... sentiment be damned. :(
  15. Stick a fork in GMNA, they're done, if they don't give us a more exciting exterior than that spy photo. RWD? BRING IT ON, BAYBEE!

Since we're a BMW dealer, and the closest Mini dealership is over an hour from here, people bring their Minis in to us for collision repair. Everyone I've talked to who owns one only has good things to say about them. I wanted one so bad when they first came out, I test drove an S and it was a blast. I very nearly bought one, but at the time, dealers were charging over MSRP, and I'd never go for that. I still love 'em. The convertible's a little gay, but the hardtop is cool, especially the S.
  17. I can understand why its eyes are rolled back in orgasm... look at that big red heart! :)
  18. Do you think anyone will buy a romance novel involving Jeff Gordon, especially if he's paired with a girl? :AH-HA_wink:
  19. It looks like a "computer enhanced" spy image. Note the checkerboard camo on the rear half of the car... that's real, I bet. The front half appears to be someone's wish, you know it had to be heavily camoed.
  20. Welcome back, Ferrari 360! But wait... you never left, so... nevermind! KIDDING. :CG_all:

... and a country song. Seriously, Cremazie, sorry to hear, man. At least yours didn't call you from sunny Puerto Rico to say goodbye and he "won't forget you", after he moved back there without telling you. <_<

Oh, I din't know you were a truck dude. Of course Canyons are nice too. :)
  23. I agree, Pontiac is back on track, with attractive, non-tacky vehicles. Next up: second gen modern GTO and full-size sedan. And don't forget the G6 convertible and GXP and Solstice GXP and hardtop. Torrent can stay if it gets more power, imo. SV6 can go NOW and Vibe needs to go on Delta. Of course I'd still love to see a Kappa four seater slot in under G6 at the entry-level.

I've always liked the RSX. I almost bought an RSX Type S in tan with tan leather when they first came out. Cooler heads prevailed, however. Hey Cremazie, them there Pontiac G6 GTP coupes are nice, with a 6 speed. :)
