  1. Agreed, this looks like a slightly upscale variation of the Stinger and is probably a good entry lux sedan, but good entry lux sedans without a German badge have a tough time selling. They need their planned SUV/CUV's here stat.http://www.autonews.com/article/20170807/OEM03/170809791/genesis-future-utility-vehicle
  2. I think Kia sedans and coupe exteriors are styled quite well, even the Rondo as well. Cannot get into their CUVs though, what is with the black door guard, what is this 1988?
  3. If they want to do well in the US then they need to grow their capacity Mexico. Maybe they are waiting to see how NAFTA works out before committing.
  4. Why are we comparing the Bolt to CUV's anyways? It doesn't have high ground clearance, it doesn't have available AWD. It is a hatchback with a trendy floating roof. .
  5. IMO the Bolt has a pretty rakish front and back (not a relatively flat roof by any stretch) is too narrow and has a crappy cargo capacity. The cargo capacity and narrowness are my deal killers for the Bolt.
  6. How about the 2004 Subaru Forester XT, 14 second flat quarter mile from factory, gearing that made it a champ 0-50 mph. The sleeper of the Northeast lesbian crowd. 7. The top 3 sellers are the most spacious compacts though IIRC (CRV, RAV4, Rogue).
  8. Funny how the source article mentions Honda also working on s similar vehicle when the Pilot is basically haklf way between an Equinox and Traverse in size.
  9. Something was lost in the second gen Cruze. To me the rear end looks awful. Shoppers chose the new Civic (its best sales year ever) and rejected the new Cruze and Elantra (both down). I suspect the Equinox will do OK because "a rising tide lifts all boats" but it is also overshadowed by the new Honda..
  10. If I expand to 10 a Boxster or Cayman would make the list for sure , along with the new A8 and a Volvo.
  11. All current models 1. Panamera Turbo 2. Cayenne GTS 3. 911 Turbo S 4. Jaguar F-Type Sport 400 Convertible 5. Ferrarri 488 GTB
  12. VW earlier stated the I.D. Crozz was about spacious as the new Tiguan. So good on them for focusing on a family sized hauler and not a subcompact CUV that has less practicality than a traditional hatchback.
  13. ISS was just a sound issue for me.. http://ww2.justanswer.com/uploads/PENTICO/2009-04-12_022602_impala.pdf
  14. Ford isn't sleeping on the Mustang either, bunch of updates coming for 2018, competition is good. http://www.roadandtrack.com/new-cars/future-cars/news/a32298/2018-ford-mustang/
  15. Hopefully the next gen Jetta gets an interior closer in quality and features to the Golf
  16. I actually kind of like the Leaf looks, a bit of an ugly duckling that grew on me. I prefer its size being a foot longer to the Bolt. I wonder how much better the new dash will be and what the 200 mile+ one will go for.
  17. I don't see that big of a change, just the new corporate front end and the same type of brightwork around the driving lights so many others seem to be doing.
  18. I had a 99 Intrigue that had its ISS serviced due to a clunking noise. Initially they were replacing them but eventually they just greased them. I'm pretty sure newer W-bodies would not have the same part since they were so problematic, but could have their own set of issues.
  19. VW's pure-EV platform is apparently ready.. The I.D. Buzz could shape up to be an awesome road trip vehicle. http://insideevs.com/development-complete-volkswagens-dedicated-meb-electric-car-platform-first-meb-ev-coming-2020/
  20. I'm hoping it goes MQB especially with the Jetta reportedly going that route. That would make all of their cars here MQB if I'm not mistaken. https://www.autoevolution.com/news/2018-volkswagen-jetta-snapped-without-camo-moves-to-mqb-platform-119633.html#
  21. More interested in whether/when a next gen Passat is arriving and if it will be on MQB.
