  1. If it doesn't give me reason to, I might end up driving the TSX until it is 15+ years old. Have only been putting 10-11,000 miles on it a year for its first 10 years. Hard to say goodbye to a paid for reliable car when you have a 300K mortgage on a 100 year old house that could be described as "unreliable" lol.
  2. Styling hasn't changed much over the decades, I'd mope around in this on weekends.
  3. I've always thought the rear on the new Cruze sedan was a deal breaker, brings to mind an 8 year old Korean car. Hatch is nice but if they cannot sell it at volume or a decent profit, it may be a one gen and done here. For my needs, in this segment due to snow days and daytrips to the ski hill I'd likely choose an all new Impreza or upcoming Crosstrek for the AWD.
  4. Sweet! Especially since the Equinox and Terrain lack in that area for their size. Looking forward to checking this out now.
  5. Looks like the wagon is not coming to Canada. Odd since the Sportwagen and Outback do decently here.
  6. Explorer had its last full redesign in 2011? More of a downer is the Edge which is fairly new and down > 10% YTD.
  7. I knew CUVs were hot but didn't realize the CRV is now well on its way to outselling the Accord and Civic. Crazy growth since 2010 2016 357.335 2015 345.647 2014 335.019 2013 303.904 2012 281.652 2011 218.373 2010 203.714
  8. Checked one out this week too, quite liked it, but not enough. I would rather get a Sportwagen Alltrack or a larger more practical cuv for the same price or less like a CRV.
  9. 1 Wrangler Sport 27-30K 2 Golf R 35-40K 3 Chevrolet SS 45-50K 4 Cayman S, 65-70K I went budget on #1 as it would likely be the least used vehicle.
  10. Mercedes needs to figure out how to expand sales in China, that would be their best opportunity for growth. B Class will live on here as the Car2Go car, it sells far better in Canada than the US but the A and B are really Euro market volume vehicles.
  11. I'm more of an "I've got the power" fan myself... Does Avenir state that?
  12. I think the Model 3 looks will attract buyers as much as its branding and powertrain. It is definitely more polarizing than the ho-hum Bolt.. With its higher pricing and more premium looks I see it picking up would-be 3-series, C-Class etc buyers more than a Bolt will.
  13. I don't buy much there, but the savings in gas at almost 10% more than pays for the membership for us. Just have to be good about going on weekday mornings when the lineups are not 5+ minutes. We find the Kirkland paper towels and Huggies diapers a good deal there as well. I agree with Mazda, if only because I would like them to do well and it would be an opportunity for them to increase their sales here.
  14. I hope it all comes together well... I find mid cycle refreshes with modern front clips or grilles/lighting attached to otherwise 5 year old vehicles looks awkward.
  15. Loved the originals, especially fond memories of opportunities I had to drive the second gen... As much as I like the idea, they are better off making "performance" trims of their CUVs.
  16. Will be interesting to see how this is priced compared to an A4.
  17. Press conference happened early in Europe today. http://www.reuters.com/article/us-opel-m-a-psa-idUSKBN16D0J1
  18. I can not imagine PSA risks trying to export to the US given the current political environment, nor a US centric name like Chevy doing well in Europe for the same reasons.
  19. The one at the auto show last week had to be pre-production, the door closed so awfully it felt like a 1996 W-body, I had to walk away fast without a peep at the rest of the vehicle.
  20. Looks like a good alternative to the Germans and its platform mate the F-Pace as well. I definitely prefer it to the Discovery.
  21. Congrats on the Compass.. Checked them out at the Auto show last week and they were nice, getting a fair bit of attention.
