Cruze tops Camry for June
Up here I see a tonne of Jettas but not a lot of Cruze or Focus yet, not sure why. Maybe the Jetta is a fleet whore around here.

compact cars and subcompact cars thoughts
A bud of mine just got back from Europe where his rental was a stick shift 2 cylinder turbo Fiat 500, now he is working on buying one here.

compact cars and subcompact cars thoughts
The leg room up front in the Focus seemed kind of cramped.

What's wrong with Hollywood today??
Logan's Run is coming too

How much car can you afford?
I don't find big understeering cars comfortable to drive at all, its disconcerting to me the lack of feel and float. I'd rather drive a Fiesta, Fiat 500 sport etc

Buick Regal GS Gets Rated
I've never driven a FWD v6 sedan that felt the least bit balanced once you turn the steering wheel off center.
-
Perspective shift
Its pretty common for modern Golf TDI's to get 45mpg+ and you still get modern conveniences and crash protection.

Buick Regal GS Gets Rated
I hope their 0-60 estimate is very conservative, seems to be when Audi rates the A4 the same and it is way down on power and not that much lighter in quattro form.

Official: 2012 Chevrolet Sonic Gets A $14,495 Pricetag
The pricing and the weird grill (size, low to ground) would be enough for me to look at others in the class if it was one I was shopping.

Since bankruptcy
Not much impressed in the years leading up to bankruptcy either though and there were a lot of duds. Really too early to judge.. Check in 3 years time.

Buick Regal GS Gets Rated
Hmmmm well the Sonata is a good car, the Regal is better in all ways but economy and space. I would choose the A4 Quattro over the GS in a heartbeat though. 35K FWD does not compute.

Cadillac died!
The DTS I drove a few months ago was not close to what a flagship should be IMO. It did not feel premium vs a typical 35K-40K car.. Just large.

Armor All
http://www.ehow.com/how_5079651_remove-armor.html (I figure woolite/zero is pretty safe) Good luck.. I like 303 Aerospace protectant as my Armor All alternative.

Hyundai Goes 2 For 2: 2 Coupes For 2 Auto Shows
The Genesis needs an updated interior and front fascia to go along with any performance tweaks. Oh and the motor from the Sonata turbo. That would do it for me. Still would get the Mustang over it though if I was shopping the mainstream RWD sport coupe segment.

iOS5 and iCloud
I've got a Blackberry for work, HTC Desire Android phone for personal, and an iPad.. I like and loathe them all, for different reasons, all of which have been discussed in this thread already. My Desire reboots randomly about once a day, no pattern to why, and lags pretty good sometimes probably due to it allowing a lot of multitasking and poorly written apps. My Blackberry has few worthwhile apps and too small screen. My iPad uses iTunes, which I really don't like, so I don't bother synching more than once a month or so (I don't put music on it). iOS 5 looks like it has some nice upgrades (wireless synching, notification system), but I really don't have a lot of use for the cloud. I tried a few honeycomb tablets and was not impressed. Honeycomb has a long way to go. Dual core tablets should not feel slower than one year old single core hardware.

Interactive Review: 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid
I would strongly consider a hybrid sedan if they could make atleast one of the seats/half the trunk pass through still work.

May 2011 Sales - General Motors
What is their annual sales target for the Volt?
-
Your MPG
I average 28mpg in the TSX give or take 2 mpg depending on hwy/urban mix.
-
Automakers Ask White House To Reject 62 MPG Standard
50mpg is realistic with cars like the Volt the beginning of a trend.. Gas prices doubling or maybe tripling in this time frame will probably make sure of that. 62 mpg would take a minor miracle.

2005 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT Limited
Cool I have the same summer tires as you do... Hope they last 3 summers but I dunno, I don't have a second vehicle and I like taking fast turns :-). I think if I had your car I would powdercoat the rims to something less ubiquitous.

2011 Buick Regal CXL and CXL TURBO (UPDATED WITH TURBO MANUAL)
Was it a 2.0T Audi you drove? How would you compare the two?

2012 Corvette Brings Along Some Interior Tweaks, Tires, and New Options
Yeah I think the Car Manufacturers making their own seats would be the exception today not the rule. Even more so for wheels. Both my summer and winter tire sets of my TSX rims are Enkei.

Chevrolet Goes ECO Over The 2013 Malibu
They didn't release a pic of the Eco trunk so I 'll assume it won't be a pleasant surprise..deal killer for me.

Volkswagen Debuts the New Masculine Infused Beetle
I really like it. Not enough to buy one but I'm a fan of it, including the wheels.

2013 Malibu - Launch Summary
I do not think it is impossible. The current LE5 2.4 equipped Malibu gets 33 mpg highway. With the new DI 2.5 and likely transmission modifications, a 6-10% jump in fuel economy cannot be considered unrealistic. Yep 35mpg hwy should pretty much be the new norm in this class for new designs the next few years and it should be a given with the new engine. Hopefully it doesn't gain all that weight associated with the Regal platform.
