  1. Does it turn into a real hatchback on the buck edition?
  2. That would be Canadian/Imperial Gallons
  3. I'll take the one with a new dashboard over this uglified attention whore vehicle.
  4. They going to use Ann Coulter next?
  5. The only thing that worries me about the next Malibu is the negative image (ugly rental queen vehicle) the name has for the vast majority of car buyers.
  6. As it stands now IMO in NA all of these brands bring little to the table vs the competition, have only one car anyone buys or are redundant. Perhaps they don't need to leave but the market as a whole wouldn't miss them, just fans. Saab Volvo Suzuki Kia VW Mitsubishi Mercury Pontiac Buick
  7. Maybe I'm showing my age but to me the front fascia is over the top and I hate "cross mesh"/chicken wire whatever you want to call it.
  8. Good call on the debt thing. I hate having a mortgage and paying all that interest to a bank, hoping to be done with it in 5 years and at the same time have some investments earning me a few thousand $ a month. At that point I'll feel better dropping $40K+ on a nice car, nearing 40, just in time for a midlife crisis?!
  9. Intrigue.. its a GLS and thats my favourite colour combo of it, Bronzemist with cream leather. Probably has the Bose sound on it too which sounds very good on the Intrigue.
  10. Looks like a "made for rental fleet" vehicle with those awful wheels.
  11. Pleasantly surprised by this movie as I usually find Michael Bay movies cheesy or emptier than a 4 minute music video. When Bumblebee transformed into a new Camaro I was definitely in my happy place :-). I thought the score sounded similar to T2 at times.
  12. Anyone who buys an automatic WRX should be slapped silly.
  13. I much prefer CUV's designed by Nazi's....
  14. My duratec drive time is all on the Taurus and Escape (I think Mazda has a modified version of the 3.0L), while I've also driven an 07 Aura XE and G6.
  15. Is this car going to be dated before there are more engine choices available for it?
  16. With cars barely anyone finds appealing vs competitors (Grand Prix, current Malibu) going away soon, that should enable GM to cut fleet sales with their more desirable to the retail market replacements.

I prefer blackberry functionality, I need to type emails etc.
  18. Meh the Porsche I guess.. Only others I like are the X5 and MDX. The Lexus is too conservative and is probably due to be replaced shortly?
  19. Drove a Vue XR FWD today as they had a little marketing thing going on at the mall this weekend (they had it along with an Aura XE, Impala SS, Acadia, G6 GT Coupe and GM's invisible econobox sedans). It was a bit of a let down, the power of the 3.6L sure is stunted somehow in this vehicle, and the tan cloth just turned me off what otherwise was a nice (though compact) interior.
  20. In my experience the GM LZ4 3.5L is quite a bit better performing engine than the duratec 3.0L.
  21. Still not happy with any of the wheels available on the Aura. I only like these ones on the g6 from what I've seen available thus far.
  22. I find current LS and GS are better looking inside and out than the still awkward STS by quite a margin.
