Umm thats all well and good but a sweaty Sandra Bullock and even sweatier and hotter Ashley Judd were in 'A Time to Kill'. Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe were in Mississipi Burning.

  5. I would guess your "white flight" people are the same group of people who stopped things like the Allen Expressway being useful by ensuring it stopped at Eglinton rather than make it downtown.I feel sorry for people who choose to drive from the burbs to downtown T.O. for work rather than live downtown or get a job closer to home.
  6. Hmm almost 6 months later and they haven't posted an update. Wonder if they crashed it :-)
  7. I thought it was pretty corny, laughed out loud a few times at some cheesy moments. The sex scene for one, then the second one was even cornier. It seemed like they tried to make every part of the movie a piece of amazing cinimetography. A spartan could be taking a dump behind a tree and they would have zoomed out and panned side to side for effect with some orchestral music accompaniement.
  8. I tried to steer a import loving friend looking for a truck towards the Silverado, we went for a test drive and just my luck the one we tried had rattles in the interior :-(.
  9. Though I'm not a big fan I can recognize the Civic is uniquely styled/non-conventional inside and out yet obviously equal or better quality than the competition. If they can they do that with the Accord and maintain or increase its sales level, more power to them. Someone's got to style some quality high volume cars that are not generic or conservative.

  11. Not a very smart man. Some people don't know when to keep their mouths shut.
  12. The Lexus brand name blinds people to some faults.. The Buick name? Not so much.
  13. Will they be able to product enough of their trademark shiny silver interior plastic when these cutbacks are implemented?
  14. The Subaru Legacy GT SpecB was a little more my style than the Mazda.
  15. One of my reports at work gave a few machines on our network names inspired by greek mythology. I didn't care that they were just development VM's, he changed them shortly after I saw them in the network neighbourhood.
  16. Instead of having it commit suicide maybe it will go back to the plant and kill a few "co-workers" and its "boss".
  17. For me it comes down to the fact there is no other 4 door sedan in its targer price range I would rather have. Its not perfect but others don't match the overall package. Doesn't matter to be that there is no status or performance reputation left in the Pontiac name.
  18. The interior does look like something that would have looked fresh in 2001, not 2008. The car had its debut at a 2003 car show.
  19. I'd like to see see pics of how the Astra interior lights up. eh this is the best I found
  20. I don't think I've ever seen one. This got me thinking, what replaces the Allure when the W-body dies?
  21. Something about that interior reminds me of a cheap notebook. Probably the silver plastic.
  22. Oh well the fake hood scoops stay on both models.
  23. The family resemblence is pretty strong, but I think I'd spend the extra $ and spring for a 2008 Ford 500.
  24. Today a guy on the TV said there will be snow falling sometime somewhere. Talk about not being able to keep a secret!
