Wow, how did he get regarded as an expert for so long, I wonder how many cases he has tampered with evidence on.

I like the urban lifestyle, places to eat etc.. That and my job pretty much dictates thats where I'll be for the forseeable future. But I enjoy my time away from it all.

I told a co-worker to look at a G6 when he was ready to ditch his Alero (he grew to hate) before he went to buy an Accord. He actually didn't make it to the Honda dealership and has a G6 now. Prior to that my pop was looking at Buicks, 300M's and Camry's, none impressing him enough till I got him to look at an Aurora.

Meh.. protectionism may help out a few companies, but overall it sure can keep a country's economy down. Japan is a good example of this over the last 15 years.

Exhaust note certainly is impressive, especially for a four banger, sounds like a track car as much as a street car. I had read it was the best sounding Honda other than the NSX.

WTF am I getting it from both sides here? I was saying the 2002+ camry was better than the 2000+ Impala in those regards. Jeez. I'm not going to compare the 2002 to the new Impala, whats the point with the new Camry due within a year.

Insulting Camry owner intelligence over marginal cars W-body cars like the old Impala and especially the Regal is pretty funny. What was better about them? Safety? No. Fuel Economy? No. Resale Value? No. Interiors? No. Chirping tires at stoplights? Sure .

The old Accord was pretty small in comparison... and its 4 cylinder engine didn't compare. Kind of like the 2.2L ecotec.

The Camry? Sure when it came out in 2001 in was.. best overall boring and safe 4 cylinder family sedan out there, which is all a tonne of families need/care to spend on a car.

Umm.. yeah oh Honda and Toyota have never built class leading vehicles. The Camry, Corolla, Sienna, Accord, Civic and Oddessey are always a step behind.

To me the Mazda is really the only one that could be considered desirable in upper trim levels. The next Ion hopefully will be too. Honda certainly has the fuel effeciency thing down, it would be nice to see ongoing refinements to the Ecotec 2.2L in this regard.

As long as Toyota builds cars people want including commuter car hybrids, while GM makes large questionable decisions and wastes resources and development time on companies like Fiat, Subaru and Saab, Toyota will continue to gain on GM.
