Very true, it was an attractive car but it was more look than cook, IMO. A far cry from what the TA22 Celica GT I posted was in its heyday (I.e. a Nissan GT-R/Mazda RX3 competitor)

I think i can sort of make out that the fender vents are like that on the original SR's. I like the overall shape, but it's too hard to tell. But Chrysler has done this exact same thing before, given die-cast companies their specs and blue prints for them to have miniatures ready for release not long after the real thing comes out. In fact, this isn't a rare occurence anymore. A lot of companies pre-release specs and blueprints to model companies, Hot Wheels, and even video game developers for their newest creations to be immortalized.

I'd love to see a new barracuda, about the flavor of the '69 (my favorite), but like fullmoon, I don't want to see them discontinue the Challenger. Maybe if the kept the Challenger as a Fullsize coupe as it is now, and made the Barracuda as the smaller, lighter ponycar.
