GM banking on 15 new vehicles for turnaround
I was going to start listing some, but then I might as well just list every vehicle that every manufacturer has to offer.

Motor Trend 2006 Car of the Year
Just another reason for me not too like that other part of California. I've only seen one sedan and maybe two coupes in So Cal.

Mixed drinks
I used to just mix everything they had, just for the hell of it. But, now i'm actually mixing with the intent of producing something that tastes good. Just yesterday I mixed strawberr Fanta, Sierra Mist and Lemonade.

GM banking on 15 new vehicles for turnaround
If you really think about it... they are all "rebadges." I'm sure you were referring to the GMT 900's, and of course the new crossovers will be rebadges by your standards. The Sky is just a rebadge of Solstice... right? And, I can't believe you missed calling the Aura a rebadge of that Opel, whatever it's called. So... they are all rebadges! SO WHAT! The SUV's and trucks have always sold, regardless of how differentiated they are or not. The crossovers will sell, because it sounds like they will be awesome. And both Saturns will sell because they look amazing (especially the Sky). It just seems like everyone is going anti-GM these days, like it's the cool thing to do. And i'm tired of it.

Holiday weather..ugh.
65? Why so cold? It's been in the high 70's to low 80's in So Cal... and we haven't had a noticable earthquake in months!

Happy B-Day
Happy Birthday! Must be nice to get a G6 for your birthday... hope you'll be enjoying it soon.

Christmas Party Caption Fun
"Please bite my weenie... just a little bit!"

Congrats to Tony Stewart
It's not rediculous... it's entertainment. I actually think that the next generation of cars are going to have more stock looking sheetmetal then they currently do.

Challenger Uncovered
It is very retro, but at least it has some personality. Much better then the mustang, which already looks boring to me.

Congrats to Tony Stewart
Woo Hoooo! A congrats to Mr. Stewart for wining the championship (in a Chevy :D), and even better that Chevrolet won the manufacturer title!

New Dub Edition Escalade
I usually don't like anything with "DUB" on it, but I do like these... I've been thinking that the GMT 900's are going to bring back the trend of lowering SUV's and PU's. I can't wait to see these on the road.

If you still have any doubt a Camaro is coming...
Don't do too good a job, otherwise I won't have a reason to go to Detroit anymore :P Can't wait to see it online on the 8th, then see it all in person on the 14th!

Outside my window...

Group Buy for NAIAS?
I'm 99% in, along with one maybe two other buddies from So Cal.

NAIAS '06: Who's Going?
I'm 99% sure I'll be in Detroit Jan. 14 & 15. Should be flying in early on the 14th, staying at the Marriot, and taking off early on the 16th. Hope everyone else will be there around the same time!

If you still have any doubt a Camaro is coming...
Thanks for the post, and this info! It's looking like I will definitely be at NAIAS during one of the two weekends. :D Edit: 99% sure i'll be going. If so, i'll be there Jan. 14 and 15 :D

Pedal to the metal
The Anarchyst Cookbook has a "recipe" for constructing a metal "bomb" that could burn through an engine block... I never thought the same concoction could run that engine. I wonder what the damn thing is made of, to handle the extremely high temps? (I didn't bother reading the article, so maybe my answer is there)

J.D. Power: Jaguar 1st in Sales Satisfaction
Damnit! I even made sure to check the list twice! This proves it, I've turned stupid for one day!

J.D. Power: Jaguar 1st in Sales Satisfaction
It's good to see EVERY GM brand above the industry average :)

Further Proof That Woman Drivers Suck!
Let's see, my sister once... ... Changed lanes in her (leased) Impala over a very small median made of parking blocks, damaged both driver's side wheels and did some damage to the suspension. ... Has been rear ended in almost every car she has driven ... Has managed to do body damage to the rear quarter panels on both our Tahoe and Jetta ... Has sat in a parked car, in a parking lot, while another girl sloooowwwlly rolled into the side of the VW New Bug ... Has driven the same Bug into the bushes (along our driveway!), scratching the new paint, right after it was fixed from the "side-swiping" incident ... Has driven our Jetta into those same bushes, scratching the otherwise good paint ... Has managed to get in at least 2 other accidents in the Bug and 1 with the Impala ... Has managed to rip the outside mirror off my mom's old Expedition etc.

Higher Education?
Glad to hear that :) I am really glad I went to CPP for undergrad, instead of a UC... I really see a difference between my education and the UC engineering programs, now that I'm doing my graduate work and TA their classes and interact with them
