I was also shocked and happy to see that gas prices around La Jolla dropped by about 20 cents!

Why does it look like this Solstice is ready to go off-roading? They went backwards with these wheels and those mud-flaps...

You took the words right out of my mouth... I actually like what they did with this G6 better then what they usually do with mustangs.

AWESOME! It looks like that could be a refresh for the front end, to match the rest of the SUV line-up. And... that 270hp ECOTEC sounds good too :D

Very nice... I like the carbon fiber body kit. I can't wait to see some pics of the interior and pics with the roof open.

Saw my first Z06 (in person) at my local Chevy dealer. I got there just on time, considering the car was already sold and about to be shipped to Oregon! Anyway... that car is sweet! :D I also saw a C6 with the paddle shifter.
  7. Good idea... a shrunken Suburban would be interesting, and kind of funny

Sheryl Swoopes (the WNBA player) came out as well... they spent 5 minutes blabbing about it on last night's Sports Center
  9. Does that mean that you if you get an LT or LTZ, you don't have a choice of interior accents, or only that the woodgrain is available in those models? I would prefer brushed metal over woodgrain anyday!

Usually you guys (the ones who get the month's MT issue first) ruin it for me... but this is great news. I can't wait to get mine in the mail, especially after last months lame issue.

Now I see why the dealers were wowed by the Lambdas... that looks very good, and I especially like the dual exhaust!

I should be ok with either weekend. LA: how "elder" are you?

I've been to Coronado Island a few times, but never spent enough time there to run into anyone special. It's always interesting to just look up and see somebody famous...
  15. It occured to me this morning... why would they clay something that already exists (Colorado front end)? So... I'm back to square one. I don't know what it could be, but I want to see more.

Just this sunday, I was at LAX (Los Angeles International Airport) when I noticed a couple guys taking pictures (with some pretty high end equipment) outside the Delta Airlines check-in counter. So... my curiosity made me stop and take a look at what they could possibly be shooting. What do I see? A big African American (trying to be PC instead of just saying "black") dude, two women in their 30's-40's, and a younger girl with platinum blonde hair and a big hat. Turns out the girl is Ashlee Simpson with a bodygaurd etc. The only reason I recognized Ashlee is because I had seen her on the Larry King show the night before, and noticed the really blonde hair. It turns out airports are a great place to see famous people, considering I once ran into ex-Dodger manager Tommy Lasorda, got an autograph from O.J. Simpson (back in the late 80's), saw Leonardo DiCapprio (w/ famous gf) getting harassed by the TSA, saw Joane Rivers... So... what famous people have you guys run into?
  17. When do we get to see the rest? And how about some specs, if/when we do...
  18. I'm going with a Colorado SS concept!

Well... let's look past the vinyl and the windshield wipers... I think the bumper refresh, the body kit, the wheels and the overall stance of the car look good.

We've had terrible weather in So Cal... temperatures in the low 60's and light rains on and off throughout the day...

On a more serious note... I hear that Wilma totally destroyed Can Cun! It dumped 5 feet of rain in two days and washed away 80% of the sand on their beautiful beaches. Not to mention all the damage it did to buildings and hotels. I'm just glad I got to spend a month vacationing there, two summers ago.
  22. Good write-up... I really like the Impala commercial where the mini-impala logo starts off running throught a grassland (the rear deck carpeting), then is seen walking through the rest of the interior before it settles for its spot on the dashboard. It's a very creative way of selling the Impala name and showcasing the interior design.

Hey NOS... have you considered (maybe you've already done this) upgrading the suspension? Adding a strutt tower brace and sub-frame connectors, and upgrading the shocks, springs, control arms and panhard bar does wonders for the handling. Anyway... let us know how all that goes...

It's very tempting... I'm about 60/40 right now about going. It would be cool to meet the members, and definitely cool to see what the one concept I really care about.

    I'm speechless... in a good way :D
