Hmm. I usually net 26 for my wagon. This sometimes includes some "spirted" driving. I have the 3.0 SFI Vulcan in it, which gives me a whopping 145 horsepower at my disposal. I do agree about the pump price thing. Having to pay for my own gas, even regular can be a daunting fill-up. The wagon's last full up was for 16 gallons [i was running on fumes] and that cost me $41,00. I would just stick it out. You got the car for very little $$ and to get a new car at this point would be un grand mal de tête. French = Emphasis
  2. Well, to begin the story. I work at Shaw's [it's a supermarket]. Sometimes when we are short staffed in carry out [i am a cashier] I go outside to collect shopping carts. I hate the people who think they own the parking lot and drive accordingly. What really pisses me off though is wheen you are pushing 10 carts and are 1/2 way through the crosswalk and people still need the fact to cut in front of you, LESS YOU HOLD UP THEIR DAY FOR ALL OF 10 SECONDS. Most of these people tend to be in large, luxury sedans or SUVs. Don't you have to yield to people in the crosswalk no matter where it is?
  3. That is rediculous. Our Dodge Dakota Quad Cab can get anywhere from 10 - 12 towing our 26 foot camper. I don't know how much a stripped Jeep and trailer weigh, but it must come in at less than 4.800 pounds. It is a shame that our truck is only rated to tow 4.800 pounds because of the axle ratio and engine choice. ------------------------ And limited to 55 mph? That will get you horned and possibly high-beamed on the interstate.

I guess this is where I introduce myself? Hi, I'm Sam. :AH-HA_wink: I guess you wouldn't call me new, as I've been lurking for about a year. I like the atmosphere of this place. It is my 3rd most visited site too [after myspace , and carspyshots.net]. So yeah. I just wanted to make myself "official" in C&G Land. Edit: I forgot to mention my car. What a shwagon it is: Its a 1997 Mercury Sable Wagon. My first car. It feels good to have my own set of wheels. I am proud to say that I paid for it myself, which to me is a big acomplishment. Now I just need to figure out how to save enough money to pay for gas and insurance :AH-HA_wink:
