We Take Life For Granted
Last night, my best friend got into a head-on collision. Her parents called me at like 7.30 and were like "Julie* got in an accident", and I was like "I'll be at the hospital as soon as I can." So I get there and wait around for like 4 hours and finally get to see her because she was being released. I was so happy to see her alive, I started crying and she was crying, and everyone was crying. And then I said how lucky she was and how I needed to go, but I'd come over to her house and we'd talk. So I went over this afternoon and she told me all about it. She said it was her fault. She was trying to pass someone on a 2 lane highway, and that she mis-judged the space and time she had. Then she swerved and then corrected as to not get hit, but got hit right directly where she was sitting. Luckily a nurse was right behind her in traffic and rushed over to her car ans started talking to her so she wouldn't black out. As for injuries: A few cuts on her face and stitches near her left eye where the windscreen fell on here. Also because of the glass, some of the skin on her arm got sliced off. The dashboard also pushed itself in and gave her a nasty cut on her leg. She is doing well though, and for that I am extremley happy. Here is her car: A 1997 Volvo 850 Before: Stock Photo After: * Not Real Name

Can I just say that I hate this. When ANY automaker does it. Look! Look at me! I am where that option you were too cheap to get goes! Look!

Someone's got YellowJacket Pegged...
Dude, It's pretty hard to duplicate him EXACTLY, seeing he's member 74 and you are 2,356. So why don't you just quit while you're ahead, eh?

Edmunds Evaluation: 2007 Honda CR-V
Most Depressing Interior. EVAR. It's just so dreadfully depressing. It makes me want to be all gloomy and such just looking at it.

Lucerne Sales for June 2006
If anybody has access to the retail v. fleet breakdown on all those cars, I'd love the link to the website or just the numbers would be good also :] I would like to compare their fleet sales, and see who is "least likely to be seen at Avis".

Lucerne Sales for June 2006
So, they fleeted 1801 or 16% [if my math is right, feel free to correct me] That really is not that bad, but I would like to see it around the 8% - 12% range. Still, good news for the Lucerne being #2 in monthly sales and selling about 62% better than the Avalon. :]

Official Serious Thread
50 people were onboard, 49 died. The last person is still reported to be incritical condition. It is such a sad thing to happen. All those families have my condolances.

camry craze
My family owns a Camry [98], and to be honest, there is not much that is special about it. Nothing says anonymous like "There are 400,000 more of me in the same exact color!" That color would be gray. Like ours. Yay for Grandmother Gray.

haircuts
This is going to sound really dumb, but my mom cuts my hair I can't see the point in paying money for a haircut, when I get a basic cut that just about anybody can do. 1" on top and 3/4" on sides. I like to think of myself as frugal, not cheap ;]

What do these cars have in common?
Way out in left field... These cars all are, had, have or will have coupe variants? Maybe :]

I just told my cousin off...
Wow, thats really weird. I guess it just really depends on the state. In NH, we can drive with only one non-relative for the firsst 6 months, and after that we can pile as many in as you want. You can't drive between the hours of 1 and 5 am until you have your license for 1 year. I must say, I am jealous of your drivers ed price. Mine came to an awesome $550, and that was one of the cheapest in my area! Sorry to hijack your thread ar2005 *back on track* ;]

I just told my cousin off...
Fixed [no offence to you guys on here, you're probably in the 1% anyways] Seriously, he does sound like a total jerk, which is never any fun. Hopefully he learns his lesson and he becomes a wiser man. And for permits, you don't even need one in New Hampsha. You just start driving a the age of 15 1/2. You can apply for a license at 16 after you take drivers ed.
