OH MY FUCKING GOD!!!!!!!
Sorry that you've run into [no pun intended] so many problems. I hope you sort things out quickly and get the reparations you deserve. Then, once you finish school, you can move up to the to the 603 and leave Lawrence and Assachusetts behind.

Gas prices?
$3.59 [regular] /$3.69 [plus] /$3.79 [premium] /$4.09 [diesel] at the Citgo nearby. If you travel into "the city", however, the prices drop about 15 cents.

What are *you* doing with your $600?
I hate to be the downer cow at this party, but depending on how much you make, you'll receive somewhere between $300 and $600. Just to let you know. Me? None, I'm still claimed as a dependent. My parents don't even get money for me. If you're 18+ and a dependent, neither you nor the people who claim you get the money you would get. Make sense? It's even confusing to me!

Well ...
I registered about three weeks ago as an independent. I am so excited to vote in November. Now I just hope my candidate makes it through to the final election...

Interesting Find
Toyotas. Yes I said it. Something interesting about Toyotas. It's a database of all the paint codes used throughout a model's lifespan. Yeah, it's a nerdy obsession. I wish I could find a website like this for other manufactures. A complaint: Why are all the cars looking riced? Just make 'em look normal. In any case, here's the link: Toyota Reference

Books -1984 and others
Bill Bryson is one of my favorite authors, all his books are great in my opinion. If you liked 1984 or books of a similar vein, try White Noise by Don DeLillo. Very good book.

Good Bye Buick
I'm sure you have excellent reasons for switching from the Lucerne to the Camry Hybrid, but did you look at any of the Camry competitors in the GM stable? The new Malibu is a knockout, and the LTZ I4 gets relatively good gas mileage. Just my 2 cents. Hope you enjoy your new car, regardless of who made it. edit: grammar

Something I learned today ...
I believe that it is a regional drink, found in only New England. I could be wrong though...

Something I learned today ...
I'm going out on a huge limb here, but someone else ACTUALLY likes Moxie? Woah.
-
Something I learned today ...
I'm going to guess that I'm in the minority, but I love Moxie. The original, not the stupid energy drink.

Transmission Question
All right, so before I ask my question, I would like to point out that I am not "technically inclined" when it comes to cars. I know where vital fluids go and how to change them, but that is the extent of it. So, I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to most things. I was thinking about this on my drive home from work. I drive a car with a column-mounted shifter. Where exactly is the gearbox? Is it in the same place as a car with a floor-mounted shifter? Or in a different place? How does the gearbox know to disengage park for instance in either form? I honestly want to know, and you know, become a little more educated about the car I drive. [/noob]

Gas Prices in the USA to rise 30 cents a gallon in the next 30 days
$3.12 for regular, $3.42 for premium, and $3.92 for diesel at the station around the corner from my house. If you travel 5 minutes down the road in either direction its about 10 cents cheaper...

Through the needle
I think Chrysler should keep the T&C. It sells just as well as the Caravan, and in its current form, looks better than the Caravan. Other than that, I agree with what you have to say, especially the diesel part.

Music that you like...
I'm a pretty diverse person music-wise; for the most part I listen to mostly anything. However, I really don't like metal, screamo, most country (Brooks & Dunn is the exception), opera, or rap.

Geneva 2008: 2009 Ford Kuga
Why can't Ford Europe share the love with Ford NA? Seriously. The interiors on ALL of the recent Euro-Fords have been amazing, but what are we left with? Honestly, it's called parts sharing. Do more of it. Kuga: Focus:
