Dodge says upcoming Caliber won't compete with...
where are you at? is gas still that high where you are? if so, i am sorry. here in michigan we're paying about $2.30 for regular no lead (which is what the mopar burns). sad part is when you add a markup to the wholesale price we should be at about 2.19. when you look at the glut of oil and the overstock of refined gas, in texas, we should be paying a buck something.

Can you tell me where to get this?
plenty of weatherstripping vendors in hemmings motor news. try hemmings on line, too. the dealer will probably charge you way too much.

Buick Lucerne real world pictures
saw an odd colored lucerne today at the yogurt/ice cream stand on 8 mile road in farmington hills. that pukey brown/bronze. boy, the colors really make a difference on these.

Chevy’s big new V-8 Impala
this car needed more wheel base. 2 more inches or so would have made a world of difference in the ride portion of this review.

H3 thrives in slow SUV market
i did see the SUT version the other day at a stop light. couldn't get close enough for a shot but it looks kind of goofy. too short in the back.

"Lucerne ready to do battle in luxury field"
i believe in the logic of sit in a car before you judge it. that being said, you have got to get the people into the dealerships. there has to be a draw, some excitement about the product. especially if you are trying to get lexus, infinity or whatever competitors customers to defect or at least SIT IN the car before they judge it. gotta get the "oh, its just a buick" thinking out of their minds.

Buick Announces Pricing for All New 2006 Lucerne
ya know, the general should pull the stops for just once on these engine designs and see what happens. let them breath. a little more fire in the plugs. i made just a few minor mods to my 03 bonne's 3800 series 2. it is smoother, has more pep-across the board, the tires squeel like flybrians SC bonneville (i had one too). had to bump the octane grade to 89 though. i am still contemplating an exhaust change to see what happens. lets all wait until we can drive one of these. we may just be delighted with the product.

tweeking the 3800
nos....did it do anything to the performance?? is it better than the borla? where do i find one?
-
tweeking the 3800
i cannot believe the improvement that a couple of cheap mods have made to my 2003 pontiac bonneville. its a 3800 series two engine. 1. Amsoil synthetic oil 2. K&N air filter 3. Taylor hi performance spark plug wires. man, the acceleration is incredible. the sound out the back and under the hood is a little stealthier too. i am not blowing smoke here. it is truly noticable. i'd like to know where i can get the car tested (in the detroit area) for torque and horsepower. i think the factory spec on this is 205. i was going to put on a borla muffler but i am not sure how much more you can do to improve it. i am running 89 octane, now.

2005 Buick Excelle & HRV
doesn't matter. at some point china will kick us all out and take our technology plus the billions invested in these plants and build these vehicles. then they'll pocket the $$. rich them, poor us. why do you think that they make us build plants and make huge investments in their country and imploy their people in order to sell over there.....they want what we got and they are going to take it. they don't honor patents or copyrights or anyones intellectual property.
