  1. Saw a really clean, sharp black late 80s Firebird Formula w/ Rally wheels and the T-tops off parked this afternoon.
  2. Was out and about yesterday and saw a clean red '67 Impala 2dr fastback, a white '68 Cadillac convertible rolling top down, and a red '50s MG TC top down.
  3. Beautiful weather today, took a drive out east to the scenic rolling hills of Geauga County, visited the neat ASM office building and it’s geodesic dome and gardens. Also went to Punderson State Park and lodge. Want to try the kayaking here. Mellow
  4. Would be nice, but never going to happen...it seems like we are just about at the end of the road for new ICE development...
  5. Been there, done that....rollin' in my JGC through white bread suburbia whilst bumpin' some Tupac, Ice Cube or NWA....
  6. The PNW weather sound insane...115? That's Arizona desert hell hole type weather. It's felt like S Florida here in NE Ohio lately...highs in the 80s-90s, lots of humidity, sunny in the morning, scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon/evening. Now for something different---with all the blather about pickup bed length in the Maverick thread, how about a Diahatsu Hijet.. now this is a short bed crew cab. Totally badass...as seen on FB..
  7. Depreciation. As far as the recent temporary price rise in used cars, supposedly my Jeep is worth a few thousand more than last year at this time. Even though it is 7 years old w/ 50k miles.
  8. Moved a second 24 inch monitor to my work desk, needed more screen space...been busy the last month.
  9. Navigating between forums in particular is quite slooooooowww.....saving this post took about 2 min to reload. Notifications just sit and spin...
  10. I'm used to seeing Ford Transits and Ram Promasters as Amazon Prime trucks, saw this odd one today...not sure of the make, but it looks like the trucks Fed Ex uses and reminds me of an updated version of the old GM Step Van....
  11. Neighbor down the street has a silver one that comes out in nice weather. Neat car, too bad Honda didn’t evolve it.
  12. That new Tundra face..reminds me of Bane's mask. Speaking of Tundras, my CDJR dealer had two Tacomas and a Tundra on the lot--all 2018-2020, all silver 4x4s. And a dark blue '20 Ranger. All low mileage used, parked out front w/ Rams and Gladiators.
  13. Also on the lot were 3 Amazon Promasters in for service, 2 more down the lot… Also saw this ‘80s LeBaron in brown. Looked clean and rust free. Haven’t seen one in ages.
  14. At the dealer this morning for service on the Jeep, they have two identical gray Ram TRXes on the lot…sticker price $99995…$13k ‘market adjustment’. Also a red one. A nice F8 green Charger R/T and purple Challenger R/T scat pack in the showroom. One curious thing I noticed were 3 used 2020 Kia Tellurides on the lot. First time I’d looked at them up close, they look smaller in person .
  15. I remember one year it hit 119 on my birthday. And the A/C failed at the restaurant we were going out to dinner at. Hot and dry and hot and humid are equally awful IMO, but different. I’ve heard from friends about summers in Austin being nasty with triple digit temps and high humidity. I was in Miami Beach in July 2008 and it was like 98F w/ 90 percent humidity. Miserable outside. Was better down in the Keys with the breezes. My ideal would be a climate that never gets over 80F or below 50F.
  16. I’d assume once the Baby Boomers exit the hobby over the next 20 years or so, values will fall…
  17. I use Kingsford quick light starters (looks like shredded wheat) and lighter fluid to get mine going. Or those bagged logs like for a fireplace.
  18. Needs anal glands expressed.
  19. Corolla Cross--for the buyer that finds the CH-R too weird and the Rav4 too big...
  20. Yes, the OEMs definitely know how to build autos at volume...been doing it for decades. It seems Tesla is still very much a startup when it comes to their mindset...move fast and break things.
  21. I love the idea of wagons that really haul like that…
  22. Saw a very clean two-tone blue ‘81-85 Impala 4dr, with white walls. Driven by a little old lady w/ white hair.
