Pre-production Chevy Camaros begin rolling off Oshawa assembly line
I thought Lutz said 100,000 to be viable, which is basically what you say.... http://jalopnik.com/173707/lutz-on-new-camaro-100000-or-bust To be honest, I can't see it. MAYBE half that amount...?

Fiat Acquires 1/3 of Chrysler
If you ever, in your entire lifetime- come up with $16,000 and STILL want to buy a Fiat...? I'll help you out Satty. Despite the fact that it would be against my better judgement... :AH-HA_wink:

Fiat Acquires 1/3 of Chrysler
Sure. See if you can download the CAR. It's the only way you will ever own either of those choices, ain't it? LOL

New Durango Next Year
I haven't liked the Durango since the "ugly" restyle so it's about time in my books....

First Retail Production 2010 Chevrolet Camaro goes for $350,000
I'm sure it's more about publicity than "money incentives".

Autoblog drives the 50th Anniversary Hurst Viper
Ya know what, I honestly didn't think as much of the car until I saw the paint job (on TV) at Barrett Jackson. It's not gloss gold, it's a satin gold. It actually looked alot better than I thought like that.

First Retail Production 2010 Chevrolet Camaro goes for $350,000
LOL It's called TAX DEDUCTIBLE. Same for the Corvette and the Challenger. They both went for silly prices, but basically you pay the MSRP of the car and the rest of the money is a write off. Pay $300,000 or $3,000,000, it don't matter. It's basically a tax deductible donation with a car at MSRP included.

LaSorda says Chrysler won't sell individual brands like Jeep
What is the MOST modern design trend in your opinion? The cab forward "Jellybean" look has been around what, 15ish years? The alternative is what? Most GM sedans are a conventionally laid out vehicle are they not? Same layout that has been around for decades and decades... ?

Chrysler in Unit Sale Talks with Magna: Report
Hahaha Too funny.

Mini project pics....
Holidays and a couple feet of snow caused a bit of a break for me as far as car stuff goes, but I'm picking away still..... I've got the manifold past the shaping stage, and have it about halfway polished I figure.... hopefully another 4-8 hours more and I won't have to be black and stick anymore!

Not good for Chrysler...
Biased, maybe. Now THAT is the "ignorant" part.... LOL :AH-HA_wink:

Not good for Chrysler...
Sure, when will GM "cease" to be? Hopefully you can come up with a better date than April 1st! LOL
-
What are you known for?
Haha Me too! I think I SHOULD be known for weird cars, or liking "off the beaten path" vehicles.... I am usually not a "mainstream" guy...?

Lutz: GM Needs Fewer Brands, More Marketing
Hummer and Saturn should have been gone YEARS ago. GMC trucks is another thing altogether, they could rebadge them as Chevrolet and not many would notice IMO... the amount of trucks sold won't change at all I bet if GMC were dropped or not.
-
Not good for Chrysler...
I would add most of the Hummer line, Saturns (creating self-competition) etc etc..... The Patriot is a danged boring vehicle IMO. It's not a factor in the "vehicle wars" as far as enthusiasts, or even the general public are concerned, but it doesn't DRIVE PEOPLE AWAY from car lots, like the Aztec etc... The ONLY thing I give credit to the imports is they seem to have better management skills, but that may soon turn with the economy as well...?
-
Not good for Chrysler...
Well, with Chrysler having more cash on hand and less cash needed urgently, I'll have to point at GM in the biggest troubles with no financial help. I think Chrysler has more in terms of "survivability" going for it than GM. GM is in BIG trouble if it doesn't get outside help, and soon. Ford is arguably the best positioned IMO too.
-
Not good for Chrysler...
It's JUST ANOTHER stinking pessimistic article. I can find just as bad opinioanted articles for Ford and GM in less than ten seconds. Who cares? Either Ford, Chrysler and GM get their sh*t together or they don't. That's the bottom line.

Mini project pics....
I figured I would polish my own intake. YUCK! Filthy and tedious! I'm about 50-60% finished sanding and shaping, forget the polishing! LOL The polishing will be the EASY part I hope!

Chrysler plan to Congress
The new Ram isn't competitive at all... and neither is the best selling minivan. Have you thought HUMMER also has "name recognition" but sales are also "slow"? LOL Helloooooo?!?! The economy isn't the brightest smk4565, and neither are.... (must resist! hahaha) I'm thinking selling MORE domestic companies to foreign interests is NOT in the best interest of your economy, but who am I to judge? LOL Rethink, and post again!

Chrysler plan to Congress
Yeah, that's what I read! Chrysler wants $7,000,000,000 to strengthen their ties to Nissan! LOL
