Well, I'm now without a soul, as it has been ripped out of me by the computer world underlords. I got my new laptop today, a Dell Inspiron 6000 with an Intel Celeron processor and, of course, Windows XP. Now what about this thing isn't evil? On the bright side, I sprung for the Mediterranian Blue cover for it, which is almost distractingly pretty. I bought it after I realized that school work goes a lot easier at the library, etc when I'm not writing, since I have horrible handwriting.

When I turned 16, I had a gas guzzling Dakota, but gas was freaking $0.99/gallon or less, that was all of five years ago.

Alfas are beautiful. I'd love to have a 156.

I'm sure you've all noticed the nice new thing at the top of the forums. Looks good, but I dislike it for two reasons. First is that it is wide, causing potential unwanted sideways scrolling. Secondly, it has no "Log Out" link that I can find, meaning I cannot change screen names and pretend to be everybody's favorite crazy Floridian.

I had a 96 and the dash was very soft, I'm pretty sure it was just foam covered in vinyl. It did indeed bounce like a strippers boobs and the 3100 I had was about as refined as a riding lawn mower engine. But I never got pulled over in it.

Rumors of $3.00/gallon started at about 5:00 tonight, I topped off at $2.49 just in case and went on to make GREAT money on tips. My thinking is that every delivery should pay for a gallon of gas, because my tips and comissions need to cover gas/oil changes/etc, so thats my standard. My comission (right now) is $1.10/delivery, it goes up when gas goes up, my average in tips tonight was like $2.75, I was pulling in close to $4/house. How sweet is that? And gas is still $2.49, plus I was really light on the throttle tonight, so I still have a lot left. I never took the car over 3000 rpm.

I deliver pizzas, so I'm in and out all the time. Speaking of work, I've got to go get ready, the fat lazy people need their food and I need money. Isn't it nice how that works out?

I'm not sure I have ever seen a Pontiac or Buick EPP commercial. They had been running the Saturn one where people are running around the lot calling dibs on various cars a lot during July, but seem to have cooled on those in August. All of the Chevy ones I see talk about how you can get a new Silverado for like $13k, all the GMC ones are for the Yukon. It kind of makes sense for Saturn to have a decline, the L series was dropped, so thats like 20 sales a month out the window, plus '05 VUE production had to send sometime so they could make the needed changes for the '06, which seem to be slow in getting to lots. That leaves a minivan that almost nobody knows exists and a sub-par compact car.

I leave mine parked outside of work with all the windows doen all the time. I even leave it running. Its a really bad idea since my store is in a pretty ghetto area.

The go0od thing about a "communal" Harry is that if someone goes too far, they cant punish everyone who used the name.

Ok, so I dont think I've mentioned this, but a couple of months ago, my mom decided to take a job in England. She left two weeks ago (my dad is going over after she gets settled and decides if she wants to stay) and was told she was going to need a car. They told her that her Saturn would "make her a target" (it would probably be the only L300 there) and besides that, its was too big. So in the time she isn't spending at work or trying to hook me up with waitresses (I'm never going to go visit if she does that the whole time I'm there) she's been looking for a car. I talked to my dad this morning, and apparently she bought a Corsa, which I'm assuming means it is a Vauxhall. I'll see if I can get more info on exactly what she got later.
