Cory drives a German supercar...
I know you've had bad experiences in the past with engineers driving prototypes, but name calling wont solve anything.

Dan Neil: Genesis coupe is more primitive than prim
Integrated units dont clutter the dash, dont fall off the windshield and dont get stolen. The only advantage to aftermarket ones is that they can be used while the car is moving.

Dan Neil: Genesis coupe is more primitive than prim
The Camaro weighs about 400 pounds more than the Genesis Coupe, thats like one entire cheese-chugging Wisconsinite.

Weddings....
Never going to another wedding again. I think I've gotten Jill to agree to my idea of having a small, informal ceremony for only our immediate families, then having a huge reception.

Weddings....
After spending 2 hours in the 95 degree heat with hellacious humidity, I was in no mood to hang out in a second rate restuarant with 90 other people who had spent the last 2 hours sweating to death.

Come out of the closet...
Youtube is a great tool for tying a tie.

2010 Buick Allure (LaCrosse) in person
Entirely off topic, but that Bass Pro in Vaughan is my least favorite place on earth.

Come out of the closet...
I've been really lame-ducky lately and showing up to work wearing cargo shorts and an Under Armour shirt.

Come out of the closet...
I have a giant selection of ties, is that a bad thing?

Weddings....
People who have outdoor weddings in the middle of July are jerks. Its even worse when the ceremony lasts damn near 2 hours. Needless to say, we skipped out on the reception out of spite. Oh, and on the slightly awkward side of things, the guy performing the ceremony is the father of the groom's ex-wife.

What Qualifies as a Clean Drivers License?
Odds are that they'll do a background check and as long as nothing heinous pops up, they'll hire you. Years ago one of the stores was going to hire a guy, so I ran a check on him and he came up with a ton of speeding tickets, a few careless and imprudents, as well as a pair of DUIs. But one at-fault 4 years ago probably wont keep them from hiring you.

The red sketch actually makes me think of the '06+ Mitsu Eclipse.

Weddings....
I've got a friend getting married (again) this afternoon. So this morning we went out and had an epic paintball war, which is his wedding morning tradition, one I assume I'll be taking part in again in 5 years or so. You guys have any idea how much it sucks to get hit in the ass crack with a paintball?

For tickets or insurance? For tickets, MO uses a point system and the points fall off after 3 years. For insurance, State Farm goes back3 years for tickets and either 4 or 5 for accidents. I think its 4 because I'm pretty sure my accident surcharge falls off next May.

Rare, interesting, cool GM pictures
That red G6, while ugly, is at least interesting and unique, not like the boring, bloated jellybean they ended up putting on the market.

The New General Motors Company Launches Today
I had the GP and STS saved in a file with a bunch of other pics I had on a screensaver on my desktop. But I lost them when it took a dump.

The New General Motors Company Launches Today
There are 2 main reasons small cars dont sell in America at the moment. 1--Most small cars available now (and for the last few decades) have been crap. The ones that have been successful have been European, which to some just screams "reliability nightmare" and priced significantly higher than other cars of a similar size. 2--Americans are freaking fat Maybe the economy will crap out to the point where people quit eating and they'll be able to fit into cars like the Cooper and Fiesta and they'll see how fantastic they are.

Revenge
That reminds me of a conversation a few years ago. My friend and I were discussing this girl we both knew. We agreed she wasn't hot, but given the opportunity, both of us would be willing to sleep with her, yet "hittable" seemed too strong a word. We settled on a level below hittable called one-night-standable. Hit it, but not more than once and dont giver her a real name.

I wouldn't call him hot, but I wouldn't call him fugly. I'm just glad I wont have to deal with him after next week.

I decided to have a little fun today with that IT guy who calls me Dave even though he knows I hate it. Most of this occured via email, I meant to forward them to my Gmail so I could copy/paste, but got sidetracked. Me: I accidentally my printer Him: Whats your printer doing? Me: I accidentally my whole printer. Is that bad? Him: Tell me what its doing. Me: Can you un-do it? Me: Please, I need to print something, but I accidentally my printer. (Nothing for about 10 minutes) Him: You're not even logged in. Me: OH NO! I accidentally the entire network! Him: Or at your desk Him: Is there actually a problem with your printer? *Edit: All the above occurred via email, after that I called him and things got boring.
