Because we have to remember, over the last 30 or so years, Honda, Toyota, Mercedes-Benz, BMW Nissan and (for a while at least) VW have built plants in the U.S. while Ford, GM and Chrysler have been moving production facilities to Canada and Mexico and wherever else they can avoid paying U.S. workers. You have to take into account that if those companies didn't open their facilities here, even more Americans would be unemployed right now. How much money have those plants brought in for the people who work them?

So its that time of year. I'm not a big hockey fan, but I've caught some of the playoffs, as a Chicago native its nice to see the Blackhawks playing decently. But on the NBA side, this has been amazing. If you guys haven't been paying attention, the Bulls and Celtics are playing probably the greatest 7-game series I've ever seen. 6 games, 7 overtime periods, amazing play by both teams. I cant wait for Game 7.

I actually miss my cube. My "office" is actually smaller that the cube I was in, although I'm the only desk in the office. When I had a full team, we couldn't hold meetings in my office because it wasn't possible to fit 5 people in there comfortably. Since I canned that dude and cleaned off my desk, we can get everyone in. 3 people in chairs, one unfortunate soul sitting on top of my desk.
