  1. MK is for Mark. Reads as "Mark-zee". Obvious, no? -RBB
  2. Is it really a "concept" when all you do is change the bumper, add some bigger wheels and interior brightwork? That bumper does not work at all - it fits poorly, doesn't flow with the rest of the design (despite the overwrought new grill), and is just generally ugly. I don't think those wheels were the best choice for this truck, either, though they're not bad by themselves. I think it's the color of the truck - these would look better on a red truck, for example. I prefer chiseled, geometric (that go with the chiseled design of the truck) wheels as opposed to the curves of these, which lend a delicate aire. Personally too, I think matte or polished wheels look better on grey vehicles, but that's just my preference. Other than that I love it. -RBB

That's why it's cockeyed - I was paying more attention to the road. Just glad I got a halfway decent shot. Man, are those things impressive in person. -RBB
  4. I noticed this on their site: Does that mean the concept is on the current GTO platform, or are they assuming the next-gen GTO will be on the same platform? -RBB

  6. I believe this is the LS 460: And with that, it looks like the last camera has been taken offline. Will keep an eye open on the site to see if they turn any of them back on. -RBB
  7. According to this: http://www.chicagoautoshow.com/vehicles/de...id=2&make_id=45 The production version is debuting in Chicago. Also, notice the GM badge in the pic I posted. There isn't one on the concept version shown in the link above: -RBB
  8. Production Aura? -RBB
  9. Does this mean the minivans are a go again? -RBB

Saw my first '06 Monte Carlo on the road over the weekend, and another on yesterday. And an Izuzu VehiCross. -RBB
  15. The Volvo C70 with the top down and the trunk open: -RBB
  16. It's much easier to stow a soft top than a hard top. That said, has anybody seen the Volvo C70 convertible with the top down and the trunk open? It's much the same way. How does the EOS compare? -RBB

I saw not one, not two, but three 1st-gen Viper GTS coupes within the span of three days recently. Also saw my first Saab 9-7 and Pontiac Torrent on the road. -RBB
  18. Personally, I prefer this version: Source -RBB
  19. Poor choice of words, or freudian slip? -RBB
  20. The next-gen Malibu is expected to grow in size, correct? Is it possible that Chevy could be considering repositioning it as the bread-and-butter CamCord competitor, and letting the Impala grow into more of a 300C/Charger/500 big car competitor? -RBB
  21. Agreed. I thought it was already determined to be too hard to stretch Kappa, though. Are you saying that isn't so? Again, agreed. How likely is the CTC at this point? Thanks, -RBB

Smart-ass comments aside, I like it. It's different enough that you should be able to tell the difference between it and the standard model (though it's probably not different enough for the "HEYLOOKATMEI'MENVIRONMENTALLYCONSIOUS" crowd). I'm OK with the black airdams, as long as they're painted black and not plastic. -RBB
