2009 Nissan Maxima Leaked
Yeah, but you also like the Avalon, regfootball. :AH-HA_wink: Honestly, it's a massive improvement over the previous design. It hits and misses on a few details, and I'm reserving judgement on the interior until I see it in something other than black-on-black, but overall it's not bad. Agreed with those that say it now is now sufficiently differentiated from the Altima. -RBB

And while I'm poking around on the Bentley website, this is a raging bargain  - as long as you don't mind the stigma of buying used. I think I'll get a couple. -RBB

The weather was nice - there's an inch of sleet on the ground today. And I have to drive through a richer part of town to get to work - only the Viper was on the road; the other two were on dealer lots: Corvette The Superleggera must have been someone's that was in for service, because it's not on the dealer's website. However, check this out! -RBB

Saw a first-gen Viper GTS on the way home yesterday, same color as my car. This gentleman obviously has impeccable taste. Speaking of bright yellow, there's a C6 Z06 in that color sitting in front of the local Hummer dealer. And across the highway from it, the local Mazerati/Ferarri/Lamborghini/Bently/Rolls-Royce dealer had a (guess what color) Gallardo Superleggera sitting outside their service bay. Looked just like these: -RBB

OK, how about your pets?
I have four animals - two dogs, two cats. This is Auggie, a miniature long-haired Dacschund. He's an attention whore: This is Rosie, a terrier mix. She looks like a 2/3 scale lab. Really sweet girl: This is Gracie, the elder of the group. She's a 14-y/o ragdoll: And finally, Yeti, our snowshoe: -RBB

Are you ready for...
What's a Cubs fan doing in the middle of Cardinals country, anyway? As a diplomatic Cardinals fan, I think your team should do well - it certainly looks good on paper, anyway. I hope, however, you'll forgive me if I root against you and everything you stand for with every fiber of my being. -RBB

MacBook AIR!
Love the design. External drives are a way of life in the ultra-portable class, so no built-in optical devices is not a huge deal. It'd have been nice if they included one for $2K, though. But what kills it for me (besides the price) is that the battery is non-replaceable. That and no integrated wired ethernet adapter are major drawbacks, IMO. -RBB

Pontiac G8 to start at $27,595 | Ordering Guide
Agreed with Lamar. As we've argued in the Malibu thread, unless *no one* wants NAV, you're just doing yourself a disservice by not offering it as an option. And there are people out there willing to spend good money to get NAV, and willing to go to other brands to get it. -RBB

Malibu...Oh Malibu, where art Thou?
Like it or not, this is a part of your potential customer base: http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/22398348/ Now, DigiGirl may be an idiot when it comes to cars, as the above evinces, but her money spends just as well and she's clearly drawn to cars that have toys in them. Something tells me she she wouldn't consider the Malibu's interior one that 'lives in 2008'. -RBB
