There's no need for a Buick minivan w/the Enclave
The Enclave is already the size of a minivan - I agree that there's no real need to make Lutz's spaceships.

What's next for Caddy??
Don't get your hopes up for that; Sigma wasn't designed for convertibles. However, the BLS will get a convertible version and could be sold here (see below). This is still very much up in the air. It's not going to be on a new FWD platform, but they are studying if they could get away with dropping it. The next SRX is still up in the air as well because of its dismal sales and the low profit platform. It was delayed because they needed to figure out how to lower costs; it could either share a lot with the STS, or it could even be built on Zeta. Because the next CTS will be bigger and more expensive, the next-gen BLS will most likely be sold here, with full time AWD with more than 50% of the torque going to the rear wheels. The average transaction price of the CTS will go from about $33k to $37k.The next XLR is also coming in 2010, so Cadillac will have quite a lineup then.

Chevrolet Announces Pricing On All-New Tahoe
But if the Tahoe LTZ is $45k, then the Yukon Denali is certainly going to be $50k, if not more. Where does that leave the Escalade? I would guess that will start at $55k or even 60k.

NAIAS: The Spy's take
Awesome summary, Chris. I agree that the Enclave intro was horrible; Chrysler has always been great at press conferences. I also agree that the LS460 will spoil Mercedes' S-class party.

TopGear Bashes the C6 Corvette
That video's a year and a half old; Jeremy has since admitted that he actually rather likes the C6.

IS350 Review
Um, the IS350 competes with the 330i. The M3 isn't even a sedan...
-
2006 NAIAS: Acura RDX Prototype
The interior looks excellent, but the outside is pretty dumpy. The powertrain is interesting; the SAAB 9-4X with the 2.8t will probably be its closest competitor.

Political correctness
It depends on how you want to define politically correct. Saying someone is heavy instead of fat is one thing, but if someone says it's a little hot and you reply "yeah like Jews in the ovens!", then that's a bit different.

Now that we've seen the Camaro concept...
The Camaro isn't really my type of car, but if it's priced right and has a good interior and passenger/luggage space, then I'd definitely consider it.

2007 Dodge Caliber
Um, the Vibe is 4 years old. Not exactly the ideal vehicle to benchmark. And the Vibe interior looks better anyway because it has some color variation, brightwork, and shapes other than squares.

2007 Dodge Caliber
That interior is appallingly bad. Why does Chrysler suck so much at making decent interiors?

Chevrolet Announces Pricing On All-New Tahoe
The LTZ starts at $45k? That doesn't seem like value pricing at all; the Suburban will easily cross $50k again. And did they drop the 4.8L?

2006 Trans Am Photoshop?
The double headlights look awesome. Good job.

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Toyota Camry
While it doesn't set the heart on fire, this should definitely continue the Camry's dominance. The interior is clean and I'm sure it has great materials. The Fusion is certainly outclassed (both on interior and powertrain), and I don't think the Aura's good looks will be enough.

Show the damn car...

2006 NAIAS: 2007 Nissan Sentra
The car is overly tall with puny wheels. It would look OK with better proportions, but as it is... Oh and I hate the plunging beltline as well.

Check out ENCLAVE on BUICK.COM
Those videos were pretty cool. They made sure to emphasize that the production version will be nearly identical.

2006 NAIAS: Buick Enclave Concept
Here's a little chart I made showing how big the Enclave is: The far right column is standard deviations above the mean. Over 1 SD above is quite a difference!
