  1. I thought 2006 Malibus already had that?
  2. I still think ethanol is a pipe dream of overly subsidized farmers.
  3. Will Chevy get a reverse badge-engineered Acadia? They can't just drop the Trailblazer...
  4. CSpec replied to haypops's topic in Heritage Marques
Hmm I have a sneaking suspicion it's the LH6 from the Trailblazer with 320 HP ready for the 2008 model year. :AH-HA_wink:
  5. CSpec replied to AH-HA's topic in Heritage Marques
I was looking at the Holden site and noticed that the 3.6L in the Rodeo only has 210 HP... Even if that's wrong, I don't think the 3.6 will be good enough compared against the Tacoma, Dakota, and Frontier.
  6. For whatever reason, the front seems to photograph quite nicely but in person it looks "off". The main problem is that it has the W-body rediculously long hood, which also slopes down and makes the front looks pinched.
  7. CSpec replied to stickmax's topic in BMW
Ugh, BMW should not follow Mercedes' misguided plan to add a million niche cars.
  8. Doesn't it mainly come into use when going around corners at high speed? I thought it just kept the inside rear wheel from spinning all the power away.
  9. He looked and sounded terrible; I agree he should not have gone on live.
  10. The upgrades look really good. The engine sounds fantastic and I love this quote about EcoTec II: "The 2.0-liter Turbo is the pinnacle of Ecotec performance to date, with additional growth planned." Hopefully DI ends up in GM's other engines very soon. I'm disappointed that the gauge cluster doesn't have a temp gauge; the numerical readout of the temp isn't good enough (how hot is hot?). I also hope the interior plastics are upgraded from the base Solstice.
  11. The shape is very un-sporty. It looks very fat and heavy-handed (like the other LX cars). This may steal some Charger and Mustang sales, but I highly doubt it will be a smash hit.
  12. CSpec replied to HarleyEarl's topic in Heritage Marques
I really like the updated VUE. The interior is a LOT better and I think the plastic panels are really useful in a vehicle like this. The Antara will be very good, but it's different.
  13. Ugh, the XK is so not beautiful. The interior is good, but the front has serious underbite and a puffy lower lip.
  14. Dun dun DUNNNNN Best concept of 2004, easily. :D And thanks bobo for posting these again.
  15. I drive fast, but I'm not a dick. No drag races (impossible in Mass anyway) and I only really speed if the roads are empty and straight. I also try to follow the 3-seconds-behind rule, which confuses many here.
  16. CSpec replied to Variance's topic in The Lounge
I actually saw some interesting cars yesterday for the first time in months: CLS500 IS250 New Passat Low-rider S-class (looked awful) GS430 And... Brabus CL 55
  17. Hey bobo do you happen to have archived versions of Cheers and Jeers? The numerous board crashes sent the old ones out to pasture.
  18. Finally some good news. Looks like the GMT-900s will actually launch at a good time.
  19. bobo you can cheat and watch the Times Square ball drop, close your eyes, think really hard, and it'll be 2006 in California.

Behold the majesty of the LS430:

I actually like the way the Z4 looks now (took a while). An M Coupe would be awesome, but maybe they think it would take sales away from the M3.
  22. Sweet, it sounds like it's going into production soon. Hopefully it has an upgraded interior (with nav).
  23. Yeah as long as the airline is still flying it will get you from one city to another; you don't need long term service or good residual value.
  24. That had better be an Edmunds mistake. Those engines would only be acceptable in the Acadia.
  25. In the top right corner of the first post, click "Standard". Right now you have it on "Outline".
