Now that will be a vehicle that sells like hotcakes.

Let it pick who you would vote for
I found a fun way to see what candidate fits your desires of our next president. What candidate fits your views It picked Ron Paul for me. PLEASE BE RESPECTFUL TO CANDIDATES AND OTHER'S VIEWS. THIS IS TO BE ABOUT FUN, NOT SLAMMING OTHERS. LIMIT YOUR RESPONSE TO WHO THE WEBSITE PICKS FOR YOU AND NOT SLAMMING ON ANY CANDIDATE OR PERSON.

GM expects flat U.S. sales in 2008
I love that line. What a smart_ss comment to make.

General Motors: Dec. 2007 and Full Year Sales
More than anything else, it's nice to see GM retail sales on the upswing.

Ford Dec. and Full Year 2007
That just hurts to read. As much as I want GM to rule the automotive world again, I also want to see Ford regain their #2 spot. Though kinda sad, the first is coming true, the second I'm not sure will ever happen.

Leaders offer up predictions for '08
I love his "in your face" style. It's about time someone from GM wasn't scared to make people think, and in some cases, piss them off.

New car is coming...'08 Malibu
Sweet pick. My wife and I are VERY impressed by the new Malibus. We've driven them on multiple occasions already.

Nesbitt: "Making engineering and design work together"
He doesn't do a very good interview. Why not start on the next generation now. It does seem early to already be test driving them, though with only 3 years between cycles . . .

Stealer full of CRAP!
GM regularly uses the 1 & 2 designation to show additional option packages on vehicles. For instance you can order a 1LT HHR or a 2LT HHR. It is not something that they usually advertise in their brochures, but use as an ordering sheet for the dealers. If you see an additional option package in the brochure, chances are that's the 2SLT package for the vehicle you are ordering.

Debate not yet settled, but Lutz thinks Impala will be FWD
Sounds like no Zeta Chevy. Probably better for their "green" image, but not so good with their enthusiast image. Remember, we are the ones that voted the people into office that made this change (even if you didn't vote for Bush, you most likley voted for those in the Congress).

GM's uphill climb to claim the peak
The only way I see fit is to prep someone to replace LUtz that is similar to him.

Jesus, it's your birthday!
Happy Birthday XP.

09 COROLLA FIRST DRIVE
Once again we learn toyota is following the path of the old GM. Straight from a toyota exec, "it saves us money and besides the customer still knows we build the best cars out there no matter what the magazines say."

Our local highways and byways
I found some great video on one of our major highways and some of the back roads we go on to avoid traffic. Skip 1/2 way through for the better part of this road. Though we use the dirt roads for rallying, we mostly just use them to get where we need to go (mostly wineries). Faiview (the dirt road) is just a few blocks from my place. We live on one of those fancy paved streets in the big city (just over 3000 people).

Head-on collision between Datsun & BMW...
Sorry to hear you got hurt. And during peak at UPS. Not cool. BTW: What do you do at UPS? I've been pushing 55 hours a week recently not including lunch, as a "part-time" Supervisor. I look forward to Christmas being over. For those that don't work for UPS. We at UPS do WAY more than any of you could imagine to make sure you get your gifts on time. If you see a UPS employee (Driver, Loader, Supervisor, Manager, Accoutant), make sure to thank them for all their hard work. They more than deserve it.

Makes cents to me...
Not a bad idea. Cuts down the the interest rate issue. Problem with those of us that use modern technology; we don't use that green stuff or that metal stuff. We use plastic.

Back to Pontiac
Congrats on getting rid of the honda for a Pontiac!
-
And I walked away....
Been there done that. Though not with a car I didn't want 100%. Buying a brand that you "kinda" like isn't a smart move because you will just want to get rid of it shortly after.

NAIAS 2008 Press Conference Schedule
That's great on the schedule scene. What we really want to know is who is introducing what?

2007 Chevrolet Impala LS
Nice car. Congrats!

GM to widely incorporate Bluetooth by 2009
I'm glad to hear they are doing it, but with what 30 models first? Will it be in the upcoming Cobalt? What about the current Malibu? Does this mean GM will change their mind about navigation systems as well?

WANTED: unvarnished opinions
Our insurance cost of our Camaro = $150 per month Our insurance cost of our Cobalt = $100 per month The Cobalt is much cheaper to insure, and this from people over 30, married for a while, and low on the accident charge scene.

WANTED: unvarnished opinions
If they only achieved the low ratings they have been given I would agree with you. Since most owners are getting much higher mileage I think they are a great bargain for the money.

Would you drive cars made in North Korea?
I wouldn't even consider one. Though I'm against most foreign cars (short of Ferrari and the like) so I'm not one to ask.
