Employee Discount
I would have to agree that there are good people working sales as well as the shady characters. Tammy and I went looking at HHRs and Cobalts the other day. One of the salesmen at a dealership close to our home did some checking around for us and found a couple we might be interested. He was very helpful and great to work with. Even though we didn't find something this time, that experience made me decide that when I do buy a new Chevy, he is the guy I will be going to. He is very knowledgeable and seems to be a great guy. He wasn't just out to sell us a car, he wanted us to be happy with our decision. Of course, it might help that Tammy and I have run a Camaro Show at this place for a few years now and are known at least by sight by most everyone there.

Q: "Would You Like to Purchase a 'Bunny'?"
I keep thinking of Playboy Bunnies for some reason. Tammy might shoot me for that one. TAMMY, DO NOT READ THE ABOVE STATEMENT!

General Automotive Question
OMG, really, that's too funny. Must help those ricers out there feel like they have something with power. Me, I'll take an engine that will produce the sounds itself. I love the sound of a V-8!

The sky is falling, the sky is falling. Look at me, look at me. You know, my 7 year old daughter is more mature than this.

THE SEQUEL
Oh, Lord, I thought we were done with that. I'm not sure the opening line of that article is a good one....

General Automotive Question
Unless you have a VERY loud sound system and an excellent recording of a 454.

Now if we can get them to do that to our supervisors, we might have a party.

Employee Discount
I do get a kick out of how BM started all of this. He posted that Chrysler was having a promotion and then dropped the panic flag. "Chrysler is having a promotion = GM will lose market share unless the do something fast." Oooooh, the sky is falling, the sky is falling. I think GM had plans for a promotion already in place. They've pretty much had one about this time every year as far as I can remember (correct me if I am wrong). Even if it wasn't as drastic as last year's 'employee pricing,' something was bound to be in motion. Just another chance to promote his "plan", bash GM's current management, and stir the pot.

GM, Kroger, and State of Ohio - allied for E85
Considering this is just going to allow more people to use FlexFuel vehicles, which are already in production, I don't this this will distract any attention or research from Hydrogen or anything else being worked on. I'm hoping that with the refineries being built here in Washington and Oregon, we'll start to see some of the flexfuel pumps out here as well. Of the 4 out here, 2 are military vehicles only, one is on Hanford and the other looks to be on an airport in Richland.

Should I Continue With This?
Its coming all very well. Like was previously suggested, alternate the character's name with 'he' and change the sentence structure to add some character. As for your problem with repeating phone Here's a couple of suggestions. Drop 'pay' from the 'pay phone' in the first sentence of the second paragraph. You still wind up with phone but have a different feel from the first time. You already changed 'phone' to 'receiver' in the third paragraph, now consider dropping 'phone' from the end of that paragraph and you wind up with. You could also change that sentence to read like this. It's your story, these are just a couple of suggestions to help you when you feel like you are repeating yourself. Good luck and keep up the great work!

"Recognition Of The GM Name"
Personally, I think this is a lot of angst over nothing. The badge is small and not all that noticeable unless you look for it. I couldn't care less about it. Keep it, get rid of it, I'll have to have it pointed out to me before I notice. As for the badge on your Vette, OC, can't you take it off? I would think that a good wash and wax afterwards would remove any reminders of it ever having been there.

So, blu, how'd it go?
This conversation went downhill way to fast. I does remind me of many of the conversations here at work though. Ahh, the military.

Yeah, some of my coworkers! Oh, you meant technology. You should see the system we have here on base. If you want to print out most anything through our one system it runs through a server in the midwest. I pretty much believe that someone has to hand carry the request from McChord to Kansas and then bring back the printed copy. It seems that slow.

Why is everyone selling their F-Bod?
I have 7 cars and haven't been driving mine much. Tammy and I have been discussing getting a 5th gen when they come out and we decided that we won't bring another car on this place unless something else goes. This is kind of a tough thing for me. There's lots of memories in that Camaro. From the purchase to each time I have worked on it. Heck, it went into the shop to have those stripes painted on 9/11/01. The shop manager and I discussed for hours what had happened that day. Then Tammy got Scott Settlemire to sign the Z/Hawk. Everytime I walk by it is difficult. If someone doesn't buy it relatively soon, I may wind up chickening out. Heck today, I caught myself checking on another part to finish setting up another mod I have been considering. Dang it.

Ailing SUV to enter market
'Landwind?' I can easily see many 'passing gas' jokes about this name and the SUV itself.

Sounds like Hondas new marketing campaign is here.

Smart cars in the U.S.
Could you see one of these heading out on Hwy 101 around Port Angeles or Forks and meeting up with one of our many logging trucks? Heck, the ruts in many of our secondary highways would make steering something that small and light a major job. No thanks. My Metro is small enough, I won't go smaller.

Live in your next Toyota
Oops, my bad. The fact you can hose it down should have given me that. Does that make the driver's seat of the xB the "throne"? What a great marketing scheme for Scion.
