As I get ready to get off of work this morning and head home from McChord AFB, I thought to wish everyone a happy Indepedence Day. Its nice to be in the States for this one (last year at this time I was deployed) and able to spend the rest of the day with my family. Enjoy everyone!

This is the time to have a lifted full size truck and make a Camry pancake.

Being a major fan of the mid to late 60s and early 70s cars my favorite Buick has to be the Skylark and its cousins the GS & GSX. Heck just look at the car as my avatar and you can see that. OK, I just addicted to those years of 'A' bodies and 'F' bodies.

I definately prefer the looks of the Jag here, especially the side view.

Maybe this explains the Scion xB, it was supposed to be a closet or something.

automotively gay? Never mind I'm not sure I want to know, the visual may be too much. Besides, I love the look of this, the car that is.

  14. Nice copy of your response in another thread BM (that's sarcasm in case you missed it.) If he is so far off then you shouldn't have any trouble showing the rest of us the light. Unless of course this is another attempt at evading a critical look at the flaws in your plan.

You mean the Element is actually a car? I was certain that it was just the leftover boxes that Honda had from when they shipped parts. I don't care how useful it is, I agree that its hideous.

That is an abomination and the owner should be hanged.

Great except, you've definately got talent. I will repeat the surprise someone had, 45 MAIN characters???? How did you keep them straight? I written stories and I try to keep it to around 4-5 main characters, any more and I get confused and the characters start to seem wooden. I do tend to write mostly fiction/fantasy and poetry to pick up my mood when depressed (it usually works well) but I read most every genre and you've got a good chance of having a book that would wind up in a lot of people's libraries, including mine.

I voted for the Chrysler group. While I don't care for what appears to be the Dodge truck front end on most of the Dodge cars I do like that they've brought back a muscle wagon and aren't afraid of showing off American muscle. Chrsyler has some fantastic looking cars and I hope to see something like the Firepower in their lineup. Jeeps are just a mainstay of offroading play, always have been, I expect they always will be.

If I can avoid hitting an animal I will try but I won't place myself in danger for it. As for the soldiers, they draw on their training and each other to hold themselves together. The show "Band of Brothers" wasn't called that for nothing. I have an incredible amount of respect for those who are on the frontline. They hold each other together so well while out there and then when they get home they are still there for each other while adapting to life back here. And I know I am not alone in this... Last year I was crew chief on a medivac mission. I'll tell you something, when we found out what we were doing we all put out a little more for them. The whole crew helped set up the cargo area, medical equipment, and load our passengers. I was right behind our aircraft commander carrying one litter patient onboard and when another patient's medical equipment wouldn't fit where it needed to go we found a way to make it work.

  21. When they have to explain the commercials you know that there is something wrong. The Yaris commercials seem very dumb to me.

Well, if you have a 59 Impala you might fight a 6 foot weapon in there but that's pretty close to the only place you could put it. Pretty much like most of the stupid warning labels we see.

Washington It is mandatory for a motorist with criminal intentions to stop at the city limits and telephone the chief of police as he is entering the town. WHAT?!? You may not carry a concealed weapon that is over six feet in length. Someone explain how this could be done? You may not ride an ugly horse. (what about girlfriends?-Oh my wife will kill me for that)
