Alright, who ordered the snow?
Not to sure why you keep thinking about Camino and that. Not sure I WANT to know.

Oh, yeah, I am anxiously waiting for better weather so I can drive the 71Z/28 and the Sklyark to work. I love driving the Vette, but there is something about those two that is different, special.

Camaro aftermarket parts?
I'd leave the body kit off and forget the wing, its no my style. As for the hockey stick stripes, I am loving those. I think they could have made them more streamlined in the front but, ehhh, I'd take 'em as they are.

You ARE special, BV. (j/k)

Horrible, horrible illness. Head on down to a Chevy dealership and test drive a new Z06. That's my prescription.

Test-drove the G8 GT today
Agreed. But when has DC ever gotten their act together. Con is the opposite of pro and we should all know what that makes congress. Heck, I am a gov't employee and I have no delusions of the compentancy of our elected officials, of either party, in any area of gov't.

Alright, who ordered the snow?
Cool, I'll enjoy seeing it. Back on topic, its keeps snowing outside (which I suppose is better than it snowing inside), nothing has been sticking here lately but according to the news other areas of Washington aren't so lucky.

Oh, great, now you did it. She posted here. Now we are ALL in trouble. Where's the tranquilizer darts??? Oh, and PCS, the Skylark IS going to Reno and then coming home with us.

Wow, we agree on something, although I tend to think that maybe its Toyota that should be dissolved, :AH-HA_wink:

Like she is anywhere near that sane. PCS - It still comes down to need to be there. Besides, in all honesty, there is a certain fbodfather who would probably fry you if he thought you were about to do anything that would hurt the feelings of his 'babysitter'.

DP - Believe it or not I wasn't attacking you or your prefenences. I just stated that it was getting in the way of the valid points you were making. As for the 'stealing sales from each other', sorry, that's not just our opinion but the belief of those in GM, and we aren't just talking beancounters. Some pretty passionate people who have been involved in both programs have stated the same thing. That said, the F-Bodies don't account for enough sales to create two different versions of them at this time. Now, that may change. For now, though, the Camaro is it. I am hoping that Pontiac can do enough with the G8 lineup to justify a coupe. A Firebird/Trans Am based of the Holden 60 Coupe would do more for GM than a near clone of the Camaro. Even if they called such a coupe GTO, it would be more advantageous. I hope that you will read this clearly and without judgement. I am a HUGE fan of the Trans Am (I would love both a 69 and an 89 Turbo in my garage) and have owned 2 Firebirds in the past. Take care.

Alright, who ordered the snow?
I almost doubt OnStar could find where I live. We've had people use Google and Yahoo maps and still get lost. If I was concerned, I would just park it onbase. I know you haven't the connections to get where I work. We're getting some more of that white stuff now. Thankfully, it isn't sticking. Too mad crazy and bad drivers around here.

I 'don't feel it necessary to defend' anything. It's just that all of the true auto enthuests that I have met (and that's a huge number) will give credit where it is due. Your negative attitude towards the car that is directly responsible for the existance for the Firebird detracts from many of your statements and take away from many of your good points. Now, if you don't like the Camaro, fine. That is your choice. But, you have made your preference known, let it go and move on. (Sorry to anyone else for the minor hijacking of this thread.)

Alright, who ordered the snow?
I doubt PCS could find where I live. He'd get somewhere near Seattle and get lost, ask for directions and get totally confused. We give directions by Espresso stands out here. Anyway, you know what Tammy would do to me if I painted the Skylark white???

There's no such thing as too many toys. Besides, I have to keep the wife from racing my toys. The 87 IROC and the 72 Skylark are hers. At least that is what she tells me.

Dark Phoenix, your disdain of the Camaro is getting more than a little boring and tiresome. Without the Camaro your Trans Am wouldn't have ever happened. Check out the history. Anyway, as of the last time I heard there was no plans on having a Camaro twin this generation. The G8 in all its forms is Pontiacs V8 RWD car for now and possibly for the forseeable future. Back on topic, I should check out the local dealership to see if they have gotten a G8. If so, hopefully they haven't pulled their normal garbage and saddled it with an extra $5-8K markup. Thanks for the writeup Lamar.

Alright, who ordered the snow?
Maybe some people are used to snow this late but those of us in Washington State aren't. My question is simple, who ordered it and who deserves the punishment? I doon't usually mind snow but last night on the flightline was pretty dang cold and guess what, its doing it again. So much for spring.

Favorite year?
Nah, I don't find him exciting at all. Oh, you were asking him the question, not askign us about him. (I love being a smart@$$)

Temptation
I was checking through Craigslist, which is pretty addictive if you ask me, and came across this ad 1989 Camaro Yeah, I know, it's another 3rd gen Camaro. But, but, but, it's another convertible. It looks damn nice and the price is very reasonable. The only problem is that I have a full driveway already, not to mention garage. I have no plans to buy this one, unless of course the Cavalier sells real quick. If that were to happen, I might just pick this one up and consider selling my 89 RS Convertible. Hmmmmm...... Think Tammy would agree to it???

Tracking Down a School Bus Driver
Call the transportation office of the school district and give them the bus information. Let them know what you are requesting. The people who work at the transportation office should be able to put you in contact with the driver. Let them know you are only asking for a witness statement and would really appreciate the help. They may not be able to release the driver's name under these conditions but should pass on your information to the driver under any circumstances. Good luck and keep us informed.
