This is an interesting Ford Granada ad in '75.

Weds Sport has just introduced an all carbon fiber wheel at the Tokyo Auto Show. It weighs an incredible 6 lbs.
  3. I'm liking that white one alot. Have only seen it here in black or orange. Always liked the GM Hurst models too... Great to see Hurst back in the mix.
  4. It's still morning here, thats just too deep for me right now, but that '59 Electra sounds intriguing.
  5. Hurst Challengers to be revealed at Sema:
  6. So there!!! I'm luvin those cued angels singing...hehe.

Something I don't know alot about, is how these huge aftermarket wheels affect handling and ride. Some of these big wheels have virtually no tire.

A neighbor has a new Chrylser 300 with the biggest wheels I've ever seen....but different than most, they are a deep dish, non spoke type. I have to say, they are spectacular. Suit the vehicle perfectly.

It's amazing the variety of aftermarket wheels these days. Amazing how it affects the look of a car or truck. What are some of your favorites? Surprisingly I'm liking the black ones with silver or red rim. I also like the spidery type as well. I'm seeing this type more and more lately. They look great on big trucks.

  11. Great interior, actually has some style compared to the sea of blandness out there. I'm glad the V6 has hot looks and not just a pale version of the V8. Luv this view of this sexy car:
  12. That IS what's so hot about it. You are spot on in your description.
  13. I especially like the high rearend....sexy.
  14. I'm glad the fastback Caddie is making a return.
  15. I'd have trouble deciding between the two. But something about that CTS Coupe....it's going to be a hottie.

  17. The year 2000 was looming on the horizon and we were going to party like it was 1999. Those are great ads, makes those trucks pretty classy I must say. 1997...wow, thats already 11 years ago.

I like them too, the Chevy to a lesser extent. I did like the Chevy Laguna frontend much better than the standard Malibu.

    Muskrat Love?
  21. What I like about this new Camaro, besides its hot looks, is that it's not a literal interpretation of past designs. It's modern with a polite nod to the past. Unlike the Challenger which is way too retro, almost a direct copy of the original.
  22. Bravo! It's the differnce between the corporate bean counters (accountants)/MBA typs and passionate car guys ruinning the show. The corporate guys will never get it. The irony is that the bottom line is affected in the postiive when you create cars that people want and desire. And isn't that what the accountants want? Take the new CTS Coupe for example. I'm wanting one, lusting even. I fantacize about being the first to get one on the block and throwing on some huge wheels and tires and go blvding. That's what GM has to continue to do. I don't need a CTS Coupe. I want one.

heck, I'm thinking the '70s weren't so bad afterall, there are some really nice looking cars from that year. All the big GMs were very nice. That Imperial frontend is so pure....really like it.

Truly one of the finest Cadillac frontends. Beautiful. I have to agree with you. This is the pick of the '75s. And I'll take a white interior. Now is that the plaid option I'm seeing in that Deville?
