You are right, the interiors of Chrysler products of this era were on the cheap. The fuselage Chrysler era is one of my favorites. Ya, there were some 'weird' Dodge and Plymouths in early '60s. This was not one of my favorite Plymouths.

Ya..the timing was terrible for this car. It was a decent car but no market for it. Weren't even the first Edsel station wagons merely warmed over Fords as well?

American luxury in 1962. Getting cleaner in style. Still aspirational vehicles.

Double Yikes! I've never felt one of those. We never seem to get anything dramatic like that here. Hope you're Partridge Family collection is ok .

Yikes, it's just another entertainment option. it is 2008/09. Not many at a party are pulling out the ol' banjo anymore. Not many gather round the piano anymore either for a singsong.

For me the original Edsel is an iconic design. I'd love to have one. I tend to like the 'underdog', the orphan cars, the failures. I find them interesting as a product and historically intriguing. I read that the Edsel Citation had a 410 cu in engine rated at 345 horsepower. Quite impressive. But I understand the steering and brakes weren't matched well for all that power. Mr. Balthazar, always enjoy your insight into cars like this. I usually learn something new. Really like your redesign of the Edsel frontend.

When I first heard of this 'game', I thought whatever....then I was talked into playing it...it's so fun!....get the lights and fog machine..crazy fun. And there are more and more great tunes for it.

The 3 years of Edsel. It changed significantly by the end. No longer was there a grill that people mistook for a urinal, a vagina or a horsecollar.

Smartypants. You're right. Remember on Seinfeld when George thought he'd bought Voight's Chrysler Le Baron convertible?

Did you know that one of the reasons the Ford Edsel didn't do well, that people felt the center grill looked like a vagina? And not an attractive vagina at that. There are unattractive vaginas? Men want to drive vaginas, but not in this way.

Mr. Balthazar, I can't believe I forgot about those two Plymouths, the '70 and '71.....I always liked those. And you are so right, it was the waning of the MoPar era. It was a great run.

The only minor complaint I have is that when playing the game, the actions on guitar/bass/drums creates cheap plasticky sounds....it's be great if they could muffle that a bit. Otherwise a hoot at a party.
