New Enclave Pictures
That's encouraging, especially since the Enclave is much bigger than the Acura and Buick beats Acura in the long term reliability studies.

Tiger Woods and Lucerne's Success
Any correlation? He's on a roll and so is the Buick flagship. WIth Woods more popular than ever, it might be time to make a car truly fitting of a young star: the Velite!

Historic Pontiac Dealership Closing
This place is being sold to a Buick/GMC dealer. Wonder what will happen to that historic sign with the Indian on it? It must date back to the 50s. http://www.pontiaccenter.com/

The Future of Buick
GM seems really afraid to invest in Buick. 1. Three awesome concepts (LaCrosse, Bengal & Velite) received critical acclaim, and yet not one was made. The current LaCrosse only used the name. 2. Buick has beaten Toyota and dozens of other brands in dependability, quality, yet this is not in advertising. I think it bothers GM that Buick routinely beats Cadillac and all GM brands. The Enclave is beautiful and a step in the right direction, so I hope this is a sign of more great things to come for Buick. Honestly, I don't understand the investment in Saab USA. They get a rebadge of the Ranier. Why? What a waste. Sales of Saab are low, quality is terrible, why invest in that rather than Buick? If anything should be rebadged it should be the Saab convertible into a Buick.

Lucerne Coupe
I am wondering (I'm not an engineer) how hard would it be for GM to produce a Lucerne coupe? I think it would sell well and offer a sportier version of the Lucerne for those who don't want a sedan.

How come no mention of the LaCrosse Super? Where does that stand?

Buick LaCrosse to be Cancelled?
Not making the Velite is one of GM's biggest blunders. Buick is an easy brand to turn around. It has a excellent quality (JD Power) and a rich history. Why bother creating awesome concepts (Velite, Bengal, LaCrosse) and not make them? Why get people and the press excited about Buick and then let them down? So what if Pontiac has a g-6 convertible. The Velite would be bigger and more upscale and not compete with the Pontiac.

No what?

What could Camaro mean for Buick?
With GM making the great decision to build the Camaro, I'm wondering if this could impact Buick? Might they make a Velite or Riviera off the same platform?

Buick top rated GM brand in dependability!
I know quite a few Century owners including one with 200K miles on a 2001 and never have a heard a gasket complaint. My brother-in-law (with the 200k) uses his for sales and is trading it in for a LaCrosse this fall. Consistently they rank high in reliability.

What new vehicles are in store for Buick
I think there is a market for a full size convertible. People buy the Saab, Solara, and Sebring because they have to. There is nothing bigger offered. I'm over 6 feet and wanted a convertible and would have easily bought something bigger. I had to get a 3 series Beemer because the pickings are slim. I think a full size Buick convertible priced in the high 30s would sell very, very well.

LaCrosse with portholes
I totally agree. Buick should add portholes on all LaCrosses...at least the CSX.
-
Could someone please confirm or deny this....
Check out the thread just below this one, that shows current LaCrosses with portholes, added by the dealer. I'm told by my dealer friend that the plan is that all Buicks will have portholes, but it's not clear when.
