Europe
C'mon now... vacations and new cars are not even on the same order of magnitude of money. You can vacation cheaply and still enjoy it. Cars, notsomuch.

Buzz is a retard. The more I hear about him in the news the more I realize that.

The End of the Petrolhead
All I have to say is GM better go big or go home with the Volt. This is their most important product.... possibly ever.

Beijing
Apparently the Chinese haven't subscribed to the same 'big headlights are the future' philosophy as the Japanese have. Good!

Europe
My car and bike-related pictures from Europe. Nice colour choice, pfffft... (London) How exactly is this supposed to seat 4??? (London) Classic London cab Porsche truck (Copenhagen) Essentially free city bikes... you put a coin in, you get the bike. Bring it back to any city rack, get your coin back. Like a cart at the grocery store. (Copenhagen) Sign on the handlebars of those bikes. (Copenhagen) I'll leave this one to Dodgefan... (Copenhagen) In Copenhagen VW Thing, found on Borgergade (seriously) Citroen 2CV (Copenhagen) The biking spirit is strong... (Copenhagen) Opel (Berlin) The Trabant was the basic transportation of communist East Germany. To make one into a limo is a bit ironic. (Dresden, Germany) Prague

- Project SHADOW
I don't think a Shadow is worth investing any money in.... but that's just me.- Cadillac Wreath & Crest
It had ducks on it?? LOL Never noticed that before.- The Search For the Beater/Daily Driver
You better ask him for the parts sooner than later or you may be fishing your parts out of a deep Pennsylvania ravine.- Hertz
Anybody else see NSX when they look at those wheels???- Camaro Convertible and production headlights
Ooh, those look nice. Not that I want a Camaro, but I do respect the design.- More Britain / EU lunacy
I think the 'nutrition' type labels are a good idea... I also think the EU in general is a good idea. Any way we can bring the world closer together and prevent future wars is a good thing, IMHO.- Surefire plan to save gasoline!
This just makes me wish I had your gas prices. Filling a Sierra for only $90! Must be nice! I fit $60 in the Cobalt yesterday.- At Last: Behind the Wheel of Volt Test Mule
This aught to shut up the whiners once it finally happens. Here's what the whiners at torontoist.com had to say today:- Post your dealbreakers
My dealbreakers: - More than $30k Canadian - Worse than 8.0 L/100km (29 mpg) combined - No manual - No real colour options (I don't want white, black, beige or any shade of grey. Give me an actual COLOUR.)- GM Growing Some Balls
Can somebody explain this to me? I still don't understand why not having national health care is a 'right wing' political move.... 'right wing' politics says do whatever is in the best interest of the companies, and they will take care of the people (I realized that's oversimplified, but that's the gist). So why then would you not take that huge expense of employee health care away from the corporation and offer it for free? Ironic that the 'corporations first' policies of the US are actually making their corporations less competitive vs. countries with national health care...- 2008 F430 Concept
I like the side sculpting. The gaping mouth is a little odd, and the taillights are just plain ugly. I'll take the current F430, thanks. Mmmm... gotta find me a sugar mama...- Europe
- Density vs. Gasoline Usage
Interesting.... I had no idea Toronto was denser than NYC (or any American city, apparently). No wonder we have so many traffic jams. How are cities like Houston and Phoenix for traffic jams?- Europe
I'm going on a two week vacation starting Friday. I'm going by myself at first, to London then Copenhagen. Meeting a friend in a small town in Sweden for a couple days. Then meeting a different friend for a tour of Berlin, Prague, and Vienna. I'll post some pictures when I get back. ps. The Euro doesn't make things convenient yet. Only Germany and Austria are actually on the Euro of the countries I'm going to. I also had to buy British Pounds, Danish Krona, Swedish Kroners, and Czech Koruny.- Magna International
That's right, bring all that American money over here before it's totally useless, let us spend it! :AH-HA_wink: - Project SHADOW
