  1. linkity Update: Saw on the Toronto news today that the judge overturned the ticket, this car is legal.
  2. Barcelona has this nice glowing butt plug building....
  3. 30 million Corollas were sold.... I'm betting most on price. A '77 Corolla rusting out and needing 2 valve jobs in a year and a half is the reason my father still won't even look at a Toyota.
  4. They're resting on their laurels. They're not innovating as much as other companies their size. They're not coming out with any inspiring features or vehicles. They're putting out the same mediocre crap and they get a pass because of their quality streak in the late '90s / early '00s.
  5. Usually I put it away dirty and just clean it in the morning. There was once though that the woman went into the bathroom with me and rinsed it off for me afterwards. It was odd but kind of nice. Wait... were we talking about wrenches and such? Oops. :AH-HA_wink:
  6. You're not alone guys. I respect the Civic too, and I considered one when buying my Cobalt. In the end I just couldn't justify the extra $4k.
  7. I have been looking for a picture like this to illustrate a point. My mother is normally a ChryCo fan, but when she saw that seat rail sticking way out like that on the Avenger, she said it "looks like something a Russian or Chinese company would make." Even the faithful get lost on bad interiors.
  8. I guess this proves that the slang is not the same everywhere. Here in Toronto, saying someone is acting or being "Minty" is saying you suspect them of being gay, but you're not sure.
  9. Why the American government doesn't help any of their manufacturers is beyond me. A good step would be to take the health care costs from them. It would be step #1 towards a national health care system - nationalize the auto workers health care first, see how that goes, make adjustments. Then after a while, bring it to the public.
  10. OK, so non-GM photography didn't change anything this time... Enclave: Still beautiful. Rest of Buick: Still classy but not very exciting. Denali: Still the ugliest thing GM has done since the Aztek.
  11. He'd probably cave and buy one for being a RWD hardtop then beat himself to death for the "shame" of having driven a Honda.
  12. Holy crap those are some cheap speeding fines!!! 26+ MPH over = $165. What a joke. The one time I got "caught" (faulty radar or they tagged someone else) and ended up being charged with 49 km/h over, it was $349, plus about $300 to hire the lawyer to get it taken down to that. It was worth the money since the 62 km/h over I was accused of was more like a $1000 fine. They've since hiked these rates up.
  13. Only time I need trucks is when I move. I rent 'em. Why own one?
  14. Man, what the hell is that loud noise?? Hold on, I gotta get up and check this out. Oh, it was just my bull$h! alarm, screaming like crazy.
  15. Born and raised Canadian, English by heritage.
  16. There goes baby #2 for Mrs. PCS! :AH-HA_wink: j/k
  17. My father was 34 and has absolutely no regrets, at least not that he's told me about! :AH-HA_wink: I can't imagine having a child before 30. I'm 24 and I'm not even sure if I'm ready for marriage yet, never mind a kid. A friend of mine has a very interesting family. He's 25 and his younger sister is 21. He has three half-siblings from his father's previous marriage, all in their 30s and 40s. His father just turned 80. That's right, do the math. My friend was born when his father was 55 and his sister at 59. For an 80 year old, he's very together and up on society, not out of touch like most grandparent 80 year olds.
  18. Spybot: Search and Destroy It has saved my computer 100000x.
  19. Yeah, why does it look like the trunklid is concave?? I don't remember seeing that on the concept.
  20. Once again I will remind everyone. ExxonMobil Revenue ▲ $404.5 Billion USD (2007) Net income ▲ $40.6 Billion USD (2007) Greed? What greed?
  21. From the ExxonMobil wiki page: Revenue ▲ $404.5 Billion USD (2007) Net income ▲ $40.6 Billion USD (2007)
  22. This leads me to ask an interesting question.... Why have we never seen any lesbians on this board???
  23. Don't say that REG, it made a lot of sense. The armour plating that is regfootball cracked open and there was a guy with something emotional to say inside. :AH-HA_wink:
