I say yes. I would never buy it... but that's always been the case, gas prices have not changed that. Gas prices also will not change the mind of somebody who has been wanting a Camaro since 2003. A Hummer is an easy target for environmentalists to slag. Reasonable sports cars should be OK (Corvette, Camaro, etc).

The conversion posted earlier is not quite correct. Current Toronto prices are around 1.36, here's the conversion that Google gave me, which is right when I double-check it. 1.36 (Canadian dollars / l) = 4.83531664 U.S. dollars / gal Search I used was: "1.36 cad/l to usd/gal"

Haven't we gone through turbines already, in the '60s? What happened with that anyways? Why did they disappear?

French is on a lot of things in Canada, but we really can't complain because it's actually an official language. Although it does bother me to see signs and menus entirely in Chinese in some places in Chinatown...

The Malibu, Acura TL and the Prius had a baby. Overall very nice, with some awkward bits.

I once saw a radio shop worker install a factory radio in a '59 Chevy that originally had none. He had to drill a hole in the body for the antenna. He looked like he was going to crap himself as he brought drill to metal! In the other bay of the shop at the time was a late '50s Thunderbird, it was quite odd to walk in and see the two of them like that.

Seriously though, does nobody consider foreign relations when choosing a president? I don't see how anyone can choose McCain, if you do. It's basically flipping the rest of the world the finger, saying, "We ARE Team America, world police." Canada won't be a good ally much longer if the political rift keeps widening. Another step in the Republican direction is not what we need right now.

I'll just say this: As far as America's image goes, it is important that Obama gets elected. If the American people really want to flip the bird to the rest of the world and elect McCain, I will be boycotting the country - no more American vacations or products. My allegiance to GM be damned, if that's the kind of country it comes from.

Yes... Satty feels the same way I do. We have separatists in Canada (for the succession of Quebec). We let them have their opinions, but would we want them to run the country? NO.
