  2. My goodness! How do you keep from trembling at the thought of such power? j/k
  3. Sing with me now! "You always said, 'Live and let live ...'"
  4. Yes. Whatever happened to "Live and let die?"
  5. It has a Quad4? You poor, poor man! j/k Congratulations on the car, Ted. Best of luck with it!
  6. I'll give you a clue as to why the Opel GT co-exists with the Solstice with just two words: global viability. :AH-HA_wink: Pontiac has to turn a profit for GM, and offer an enticing product, in order for the strictly business-side of GM to justify its existence. I do agree that Pontiac should not be seen as any sort of mainstream car, however. Pontiac cars have always been above the mainstream, from their greatest iterations to their worst.

  8. This is like time travel. That car is almost showroom-quality.
  9. Ew! A Lumina? My aunt drives one of those. You can do much better than that BV, although I can see how any low-mileage car for a decent price is tempting.
  10. Hmmm ... I forgot one. On the way into Clark County today, taking a rural backroad, I saw a poor early Seventies Nova with a small tree sprouting from its engine bay.
  11. There was an early Fifties Chevrolet wrecker driving by the Winchester Taco Bell today. Yes, it was exactly like someone had made Tow-Mater a reality (except it didn't have a missing hood). I also got to see a brand new G8 on the back of a car carrier headed to Adams Pontiac in Richmond. It was a very sexy car, indeed.

  13. Happy Birthday, Northie! Hope today is a great day!
  14. The author of the article states that this is "sexy." Granted the stance is alright, but this has all of the sex appeal of Mrs. Doubtfire in a two-piece bikini.

  16. You got it. :AH-HA_wink: Also, since I figure that you would be the best source to ask, he wants to know how much the interior restoration would cost on that '76. I'm thinking that it would be less than a grand, but I'm not sure.

  18. I don't particularly care for KFC and I have only the slightest idea what a Roy Rogers might be. Anyway, I'm thinking that you should be thinking Arby's. Didn't we already agree on this? j/k

  20. Yeah, probably.
  21. Again, it is not as good as black. But it is still just as bad ass, just the same. Is it just me or does the "Velocity Yellow" look a little pale in the photos, sort of like classic "Butternut Yellow?"
  22. Almost as good as black. But not quite. :AH-HA_wink:
  23. The standard cheddar roast beef is my "drug of choice" when I'm in the mood to really order. I wasn't that hungry today when I stopped in. Don't forget the apple turnover!
  24. How about that. I had Arby's just today, myself. Mozzarella sticks and a medium Mountain Dew. Pretty good.
