zoomtm: Nice mug, now show us some more pics of your Park Ave. :)
  2. It's not Fathom Green... I'll post some pictures of a real FATHOM green '69 later. You guys will die when you se the car I saw.
  3. Hell yeah!!! Red is so predictable!
  4. Note to self: If I ever design & produce my own exotic car make sure to NOT name it after an embarasing female bodily function!
  5. LIke ANY H2 is practical. :P
  6. If you don't know what I'd pick by now then you will never, nerver, NEVER know me... My GM bias Aside the Cobalt is a nicer looking car inside and out, but it's the performance that seals the deal!

Hi, my name is Silvester. I am a 5 feet 9 inches male. I have dirty blonde hair and hazel eyes. My favorite activities include burning rubber and drag racing. I love long drives to nowhere in particular and random roadtrips. I also enjoy reading car magazines, car shows & drawing... mostly cars. My favorite restaurant is Olive Graden & I'm addicted to fine european Chocolate. My turnoffs include FWD, automatic transmissions & high gas prices. I'm looking for a used 36 to 37 year old Chevrolet coupe or convertible whose VIN begins with 1243. Hockey stick stripes are nice as are Z/28 emblems but Yenko stripes are even better. Any 1969 Camaro of any color or body style is fine but V8s are strongly prefered. You don't have to go topless but it's not frowned upon. If exciting adventures in the front seat and quality time under your hood sound like fun then call me! http://www.cheersandgears.com/public/style_emoticons//AH-HA_wink.gif
  8. Wow, these past few weeks have been a bit crazy and I've encountered a few weird "Twilight Zone" coincedences. This is another. My girlfriend's Grandmother's next door neighbor has a 1990 Sigma. I've always admired it for its quirky styling and unique looks. Sharp looking cars really. It's FWD and Automatic so I'd never be super-interested in buying it but it is a lot nicer looking than the other two cars in their driveway. ('99 Camry & '05 Stratus) Just last week they put a for sale sign on it as they do not need it anymore. I thought for $700/OBO with only 120,000 it was a good deal for a 1990 in excellent condition. As the owner of a '84 Maxima you all know I love rare cars that were produced in small numbers and snuck under the radar of the typical car enthuisiast. I told a friend of a friend about the car and we ended up talking Gram's neighbor down to $400. So now Paul has a car almost as quirky as my Datsun. Here's a front & rear shot.
  9. Agreed, a pocket protector, cheap wool suit and massive cowlick would be at home on this hideous monstrosity.
  10. I've sen this site before, it's so damn funny I almost piss my pants every toime I see this junk. Waste of human effort is an understatement.
  11. I wish I could hold my breath.
  12. WOW! I can't believe I'm LUSTING after a Saturn. A four cylinder car at that. This thing is the coolest roadster on the market. I love the Solstice but this is a bit more refined and agressive. Love the chrome heat extractors on the hood!
  13. Sounds like the time I printed out an article on the Sept.11 donations by Auto manufacturers. GM, Ford & DCX all donated millions while most Japanese manufacturers gave ZIP. So much for the Camry/Accord is made in the USA crap. Toyota and Honda gave esp. little considering their profitable sales in the USA. I printed out a few dozen of these articles and put them under the windshields of Camrys & Corollas at the local Toyota Dealership one night.
  14. I didnt; even try to look for a real face foir the first minute or so because I was expecting the usual ghost/monster/satanic face to pop up. When I actually made an effort I found him in like 15 sec. I highly doubt that this has a true bearing on brain development and such.
  15. The styling on this thing makes the Aston MArtin relationship way too obvious. For $250,000 it's a nice car but nothing extraordinary.
  16. I used to think that way Avro, I got to tell you tough I'll deal wiht a few Camsro's having pedestrian ecotechs. It will make it that much easier to make a sleeper LS7 car. :D
  17. A guy stopped by my house yesterday in a hugger orange 1968 SS396. He's stopped by before and keep teling me he has a decent amount of '68 parts for sale. When a black H3 dove by he said he just got one for his wife and they're thrilled with it. It's a bit underpowered but since he will not be towing it's not a huge issue. Very impressed with the frame, ride & comfort. & He's like 6' 3".
  18. $29,000 for a LaCrosse is just laughable. I'm a huge GM fanatic but I would NEVER recomend a V6, FWD midsize car to anyone looking for a $25,000+ car. It's absurd.
  19. I gotta tell you, I love the Angel Eyes. LOVE them. :) Thanks for ythe pics. NOS.
  20. A lime green '76 C.Classic Wagon with woodgrain? Sure. :) Heres' some more nice ones:
  21. I voted Impala. If it can get 30mpg wiht the 3.4 pushrod how about 45mpg wiht the ecotec and a pair of electric motors.
  22. Civic, cool again? Hmmm.... I dont; think so.
  23. Found on the net in an undisclosed location. Hummer Rice, unbelievable. I actually like it!

Notice the cool CORVETTE basebal cap.
  25. Just remember NOS, don;t spend so much money on your 3800 Caamro that you could have had a LS1 car instead. I like these lights but a not crazy about them. If I was going to customise the car I'd install LEDS oin the stock lamps instead. I'm a big fan of LED lights. :)
