IIRC 1981 was the last year of the coupe. Quick Story: Being the whacked out functionally retarded Cr nut that I am I often buy the WantAdvertiser just to tease myself. One time I'm flipping through one and see a 1983 Chevy Malibu Seadn for sale. 305 Auto... blue excellent condition for $500. I call the lady up[ she says she is 73 years old and can no longer drive. The car has 30K original mile and a tiny amount of TLC is needed and the paint is faded. She lives out in Marthas Vineyard (island off of Cape Cod) and the car is garaged. It does not have the typical rot of a car driven around a saltwater beach since she's not right by the ocean but says that her grandkids do not want to car. To look at it I'l have to take the ferry over to Marthas Vineyard but I will not be dissapointed for $500.00 One owner and in mint condition. I was broke at the time and Marcia was still pregnant wiht Sofia so I could not justify going to look at the car. Had neither the time or the money. But I've always regreted it. I had dreams of dropping a smallbclock stroker into that sucker and not having to worry about emissions. (1983 is the last year of no sniff test in MAss) Eventually if I had the money I would have made the 1980s equivelant of a Copo Camaro. The ultimate Sleeper. 502 crate engine and M22 in a 100% stock looking Malibu sedan.
  2. i'm not Tracker fanatic, I mean theydid have a goofy stigmata but I'd rather have BO racker 4x4 than an Equinox. I hate car based SUVs. Just as I always make fun of the CRV, RAV4 & SantaFe I'm no fan of the Equinox and Vue. Besides, It's been proven time and time again that small "cute-utes" are less safe than a equaly priced mid size car. With the V6 and the LT package the Tracker was a decent little truck. At least it had a frame. Too bad a manual trans was not available with the V6.

  4. Ohh Boy. I'm not up to speed wiht the current promotion. I have not worked for a Chevy dealer in almost two years. Someone working at a dealer would have the inside track. Best of luck!
  5. my list was "all time" but if we're talking current: Chevy: Corvette C6 Z06 Pontiac: Solstice Cadillac: CTS-V Buick: Luscerne (Park Ave Ultra if they still made it) GMC: Yukon Denali Saturn: Sky Holden: Commodore Opel: Spedster Turbo Subaru: WRX-Sti SAAB: 9\3 Isuzu: None of the above (I guess Ascender)

  7. Explain my Avatar: Who/What/When. Perhaps someone with an excellent memory who read one of my long-assed posts on the old C&G will remember. :)
  8. Yup... I also like to remind Ford guys their five-oh mustang is actaully a 4.9. ;)
  9. I watch cathouse on OnDemand wiht the G/F all the time. I like the one where the black chick has a white (British?) BiCurious girl come in... Ohhh..... so hot. The two of them, togeather... doing stuff. I need a cold shower. Harley: Yes, that's awsome. :) Notice the Swans in place of the usual Ducks. I just found that GIF on Google. Random find.

  15. I will absolutely definately own a Mini before I die. (uness I wrap my Camaro around a telephone pole like tomorrow) I'd prefer a late 60s original but I'll take a BMW mini and wiht a blown engine at the Auction and shoehorn a complete engine cradle and No* from a 90s STS inot the back seat! RWD, Mid Engined and 300HP!!! Herr-Heh-Heeerrhhh... Mini, yeah RWD mini... cool!

Buick had some kick ass fonts and designs on their emblems in the 50s and 60s.
  18. There's a black one in Dunstable Mass. I've seen it twice now.
  19. Wow, Vipes... that's cold. I love Buick and Pontiac equally so asking me to cut one would be like asking a mother to kill one child! Buick should NEVER be mesed wiht but then agian neither shuld have Olds. The current Buick lineup does royally suck!
  20. Enzora: Pushrods and RWD aplenty?! ;)
  21. BV: "Sign the Bring back the Fireo Petition or the Kitten gets it!" * No Kittens were harmed in the making of this post.
  22. Love the 17lbs. of gray plastic... <_<
  23. Awsome!!! What do you have for a Toyota? If you say a tube-chassis 1978 Corolla with a 454 power, M22 trans. & 9" FOrd rear end I'll crown you "Captain Cool"! :P
