Spied??
Hmm, wonder where I was at. The last camoed vehicle I saw in Coldwater was some HUGE Ford SUV. Before that there were many Dodge Calibers. And sometime in early spring when I was driving home from Sturgis there were like six Azeras camoed up and heading east on Chicago Road (U.S. 12).

More Lacrosse "Super" Info
I'm not digging the "Super" title. Sounds like something Hyundai or Kia would slap on some tarted up sedans of their own. I'd rather see GNX, Grand National, just something with more oomph, more mwhaha sounding.

GM plans to replace Saturn Ion with Opel car
Astra TwinTop wouldn't quite compete with the Eos. The Astra is more Cobaly sized, the Eos is between the slightly larger Jetta and full-on midsized Passat. But, if the Astra 3-/5-door and wagon models come over virtually unaltered (aside from ridiculous federalizing) it would be a very welcom God-send as Euro cars are softened up for Americans that can't handle the "firm" rides.

C&G Spy Shots: The Next ION!
All of the "official" reports in automotive magazines about the Astra itself coming here has gotten me all excited! I can't wait! Hopefully (aside from no plethora of engine options) the Astra will come across the pond virtually unchanged. It should have the 1.9L CDTi diesel though.

Auras are on the road!
Agree regarding the Mitsubishi engine. I don't know about the first generation, but the second generation of Cloud Cars had a 2.4L turbo in Mexico. THat would have been great in Mk 1 Clouds with a manual transmission. My Breeze has the 2.0L engine used in Neons and later export PT Cruisers.

VERY interesting new Astra option
This option should be available on the ION-replacing Astra in the U.S., and this option has indeed been around for a while. Noted it on German Car Fans site in early 2005 in a press release by Opel.

new Rivera
I'd choose Zeta. It's rear-drive, rear independent suspension, and more affordable than Cadillac's Sigma. A new Riviera would be nice.

Real World 2007 SRX Interior Picture!
Oooh, I like its design, but... it doesn't seem as daring as a Cadillac should now be.

Is there any point to the CTS 2.8?
The Saab turbocharged 2.8L is because Saab is known for turbo engines, and before the 9-7X and also the bastard 9-2X, weren't all Saabs turbocharged? Aside from the important cylinder count in its class, I feel Saab's 9-3/9-5 should employ the 2.4L ECOTEC Direct Injection turbocharged and modified to their use and make around 290-300 hp. 2.8L could be useful for penetrating Euro markets, of course, but in the U.S., it doesn't seem to make much sense.

BLS a bust?
I don't see how the Saab 9-3 may be considered "mediocre" when it is technically the best of the Epsilons, possibly the BLS/Opel Vectra excepted. Other than the STS as a whole, and the DTS's interior, I consider this small BLS to be my favourite Cadillac even if its interior isn't radically unique. It's smaller, still has the look, has great (right?) quality on a proven architecture (even though that architecture debuted, what...2002 on the Vectra?). If the BLS were rear-drive and it was known as BTS, I would like it even better. It's taken too long for GM to utilize this platform across the range. Saturn is just now getting the Aura. I'm amazed that GM didn't produce an Epsilon Buick...yet. It's been almost five years since Epsilon debuted. I know it's solid and decent, it's just that the time frame is too expansive. When Epsilon-2 debuts, the Aura will only have been around for 2-3 years. Will Epsilon continue for each brand for as long as it underpinned other models, or will GM place Epsilon-2 under all of the cars at once? Cars like the Opel/Vauxhall Vectra, SAAB 9-3, Chevrolet Malibu, Cadillac BLS, Pontiac G6, and Saturn Aura. Quite an empire to lord over...

'07 Sebring UNVEILED
Well, I wanted and couldn't wait to see the new Sebring. Now that I have, I want them to put the camo back on that sucker and take it back. The Sebring used to be good looking. What happened? The C-pillar is atrocious, they should have left the ION-esque panel alone, it would have been better than with that stupid extension, and the front/hoodline area just doesn't go with the rest of the car. However, aside from the steering wheel, the interior (mostly due to the climate control location) reminds me of der neue Passat. And one of my (current) last complaints is... WHERE IS THE MANUAL TRANNY?!

MyerShift and Things from the MailBox
Hey everyone! I just wanted to share with you that I got my Citroen C4 brochure in the mail! Yes... Citroen. I forgot that I asked for it, hehe. It's all in French of course, so it'll take me awhile to figure it out. I think it's a cool little car, especially the 3-door. Also cool is that Citroen would even send me one.

...
I had not really liked the current CTS, but the STS I liked. Cadillac will probably win me over in a wow-I-haven't-seen-you-in-a-while-and-you-look-great kind of way. I can't wait for GM's next wave of luxury, performance, and innovation.

G6 GTP spotting
Won't people destroy clutches with the 3900 or a 3.6L? I still think that such a powertrain combination is odd.

Pontiac G6 Convertible Sells Out for 2006
G6 Cabrios sold out? Awesome! I've seen about three in the past couple of weeks, both on Interstate 69, and both of the idiot drivers still had the side windows up even though the top was down. Umm, duh, that's the point of the convertible...WIND!

Do you like or hate thunderstorms?
I love it as long as I'm not trying to sleep. Nothing is worse that having the $h! scared out of you from a close lightning strike when you're sleeping.

2007 Chrysler 300 News
I liked the 300, but thought it looked too squat. The wheelbase stretch fixes that. But, why isn't Chrysler doing it in-house?

Odd car. But interesting, with a great greenhouse.

Alfa Delays U.S. Return Plans
I like the Citroen C4 Coupe. I really have to ask, why the hell are all Italian brands so expensive? I mean, where would the FIAT brand be positioned if there were FIAT, Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Ferrari, and, Lord knows why, Lancia were all here? Alfa Breras should be priced starting from $26,000 in the U.S. in my opinion.
