Stadium Arcadium
My God...I feel so old.And the songs still sound so current! RHCP has a timeless quality about their music that I love.

Stadium Arcadium
If you like the Red Hot Chili Peppers (or alternative in general), you're going to love this album. I've had it for all of two hours and it's already a candidate for album of the year (for me, at least)! I suggest purchasing form the iTunes Music Store, as you get a video on the making of the video for "Dani California," a 17-page digital booklet, and an hour-long audio commentary. (Ultimate-Guitar.com said you can get a special edition with these bonuses plus some other toys for US$130. Yeah, I'm gonna have to stick with just paying $19.90.) Recommended tracks: Dani California Snow (Hey Oh) (John's guitar work is amazing) Slow Cheetah Tell Me Baby Hard To Concentrate 21st Century Readymade (Cowbell!!) Really, go check it out. Now.

Any upcoming changes for the Avalon?
Yeah, the size thingie is based on a combination of interior and trunk volume.

camry transmissions
I think if it's big enough to warrant a recall, it has to at least potentially affect a much higher percentage of cars. The transmission was also standard in the ES350, so depending on the number of V6 Camrys sold on average, I'd say the number of transmissions installed with problems could be much greater than originally thought.

Oh stop it, your profuse apologies are unnecessary. Now let's go bake a chocolate cheesecake. Sorry, I'm watching Food Network.

Edmunds: 2007 Nissan Altima First Drive
Maybe the third best selling Japanese midsize sedan, but the Impala is the third best selling midsizer in the U.S.

Red Flag, the Company
I agree, but it's still ugly and cheap-looking.

Toyota Recalls Camry
One question that comes to mind is whether this is the same transmission used in the Avalon (assuming it's a 6-speed, I'm not sure), and if so, why this is the first problem popping up.

Toyota Recalls Camry
You heard it here first, now here's comfirmation of the new Camry's transmission troubles: Credit: TCC Toyota Recalling Camry The newest edition of the Toyota Camry is being recalled for a problem with the transmission. The problem, Toyota says, involved only a half-percent of Camrys built thus far for the 2007 model year. The new six-speed automatic transmission could lose second and sixth gear during operation. Toyota told Reuters the vehicle still will operate even if the gears are lost, and that the problem usually happens within the first 500 miles of use.

Sky, Solstice and Corvette: S.O.S.
In theory, that's how it should work. But that's not always the case. (I don't feel like supporting my argument, so just go with it). I think once people start seeing the Aura and Outlook on the roads they'll first wonder who the hell made them, then probably check them out because of their exterior styling alone. Hopefully. Hey, I like them.

Trinacriabob reviews new Monte Carlo
Sometimes I really think GM just didn't give a damn when re-doing this car.

Edmunds: 2006.5 Kia Optima First Drive
I just hate how it looks so much like a last-gen, Korean Altima in the front, has CSX taillights, and stole the Lucerne's headlamps.

Maximum Bob
I really like the article, Tama. It read like a professional journalist wrote it, and I think you have real potential--especially for just being in high school. Keep up the good work!

....
The CTS being my favorite car, I was afraid they'd bungle the next gen incarnation and make it soft like the Escalade. It appears my fears were unwarranted. That's all I think I need to say about that. On another note, what if those interior shots are of the interior of the STS refresh we've seen driving around? It's possible the interior was completely redone to match that of the CTS, SRX, and Escalade, especially since (to my knowledge) we haven't seen any interior shots. The seats are nearly a dead giveaway that it's probably going to be the CTS's, but here's hoping. and so forth.

I've seen a couple of these out in Harvey, a Chicago suburb. Yeah, you see that in your rear view mirror, you know you're not getting away.

The Impala-style (blue on black) has been, in my experience, easier to read at night.

GM paid $2 million to have a Solstice blown up
It was, and they weren't. If you look closely (I did because I noticed they were nearly all GMs), you'll find at least one early-90s Taurus, and of course the Bimmer. Maybe a couple more, too, but the point is there were a ton of GMs.
